This season may be a new low for the SEC East.

Based on what we've seen so far, the East is potentially going to be pathetic in 2017. Florida and Georgia still have big problems at quarterback. South Carolina's OL and defense are still bad. UK, Missouri, and Vandy are still fluff. Tennessee still has Butch Jones, who, sad to say, is still in the conversation for best head coach in the division.
Right now I'd pick Tennessee to win the division, just because we haven't seen them play yet and they might have a decent quarterback. If they lose to Georgia Tech, we're in for an epic pillow fight to decide the East champion.

Assuming you didn't watch our game.
Also, 2010, 2014, and 2015 still exist.

I did, wasn't impressed, but congrats on the win anyway.

Defense wasn't impressive, sure.
But idk how you can say our OL is still shite. They played damn well

The tune of this board will be drastically different in 12 hours when VOLS are wrapping up a 35 point victory

If our offense could get its shite together we'd be alright. Hopefully it was just first game jitters.

Texas A&M belongs in the east

Bro UGA is getting built up. Our defense is top 3 SEC, our offense has a game manager QB who is running the offense nicely, and our whole team is improving greatly(except for maybe the o-line). Chill out, sit back and watch UGA reach our potential.

We gave up 2 sacks to a TOP 5 DLine in the Nation that were made because of blitzes. Our Oline didnt look bad vs. NC State.

You can't look at a single team in the East and say they are great. Everyone has massive holes.
Of course, we knew this before the season.
The East really hasn't been good since 2013

It is sad when Vandy looks like they played the best game out of all the teams in the division.

Not in the first half anyway.
In the 2nd half NC State had what? Like 173 yards, 7 points, 1 turnover, and we sacked him 4 times? (or was 1 sack in the first half?)
Yeah, both sides of the ball could use some work, but there's no reason we can't get to at least 8 wins this year.

Well, maybe I'm wrong. Your OL is fantastic and you have no RB's. But, congrats on the 1.48 yards per carry and 250 total yards of offense. Bentley's pretty good, I'll admit, but he's not good enough to carry the entire team.
P.S., please don't embarrass yourself by telling me about the great NC State defense. When fans have to build up their opponents to explain glaring deficiencies, it's always a bad sign

I didn't watch the USC game
So when I read your post I thought "USC must be pretty good"
Then I looked at the stats
No state had 26 first downs to USC 12
Nc state had 504 yards to USC 246
Nc state had 36 minutes Time of possession to USC 24
How the heck did USC win?

There really is no excuse, either. USCe has got to be the favorite. JB @ QB, and I have all the confidence that Champ will at a minimum mask the D's deficiencies. There will be heat on Kirby and JM at the end of the season.

This is the same guy that says UGA is going 7-5 at best this season on the dawg rant. I'd take what he says with a grain of salt.

Right. NC St dominated that stat line.
SC had a KO return for TD, and won the TO battle. NC St also had a big penalty on a 3rd down in the 4th quarter when they were driving to tie the game.
It was a solid win against a decent team, but I don't think you watch that game and come away saying "Wow, SC looked great!"

Look at stats all you want , we won the game and controlled the game.
We were about to run away with the game towards the end when we were up 35-21, bad decision by punt returner fricked it up.
Must be nice to open the season with 1- AA opponents every year.
