True. After you're eliminated from playoff talk this week, the Auburn game could decide which second tier bowl game you go to.

Indeed. The Auburn game looms large.

Look at the LSU-Bama series record and explain to me how that is "competitive"

You're right. Since 1982, it has been rather one sided outside of the state of Louisiana where LSU is 11-5 vs Alabama in Tuscaloosa/Birmingham.

As far as "football" goes, it's a HUGE rivalry with regards to the college football landscape....

As far as Bama fans are concerned, they care more about whipping up on poor Auburn & Tennessee than they do their first born....

Saban is wrong, but now that the short Gump Mesiah has spoken, the gumps have to call it a rivalry. He has spoken.

Judging by the scheduling choices of both teams - it is the game both programs spend the most time worrying about at the start of every year. Bye weeks are deliberate

Bama fans are schizophrenic. They get on the rant and contest any statement that LSU/Bama is a rivalry game, then flood twitter with #LSUhateweek references.

Seriously, what's wrong with acknowledging that this has become a great game between two great teams?

It's almost like you are trying to set yourself up to be able to say "I didn't care anyway" when you get beaten! Lol!

It's always a Bama fan choosing a specific window on the timeline of college football to try and make a point......

I actually agree with Saban on this point. Privately, he'd tell you that year in year out LSU is bigger than Georgia, Tennessee and, most years, Auburn.

Lsu will be conservative, and it will be their downfall.

Perfect!

As you can see in the link you provided, CNS has positively impacted both programs as the head coach thus helping LSU by making the program much more attractive than when he first arrived.

Thanks again for the link!
