Just talked with Troop. He said "My boy Lac is gonna break all the records at Auburn!" I think he has him confused with Deangelo Benton.

Been kind of busy at work, haven't had a chance to read much this morning, not trolling when I ask if anyone besides PM is reporting it? Any further confirmation? Would seem like at this point that would be kind of weird if none of the other usual suspects were jumping on this, right? Kind of an odd way for this to come out either way. And an odd story in the first place.

So far only PM...

People Who Know insist Therezie IS NOT angry about playing time. This idea, I am told, was brought to him. He is OK with it.

The move may or may not be permanent.

Therezie is not terrible at corner. He's needed at RB right now. He may go back to CB if he's no longer needed at RB.

Birmingham News (shite) reported Chizik as saying that he will be playing more players this weekend. Which is just another way of saying, "the cupboard is empty. Abort. Abort."

I'm not buying it. Unless they're trying to play mind games with Missahippee State.

Like it's a scary proposition. Oh, a backup DB might try to run the ball. The D line just popped a collective boner.

Very strange. No more pressers for the staff until after the game, right?

Damn, an Auburn player can change positions, and the SECr still goes full retard.

don't be so sensitive, it's a questionable move at a questionable time. If jalen mills or landon collins were switched to running back, there would be a thread on that too

The only ones being overly sensitive are the ones calling for Chizik's head over one, questionable player move.

That makes absolutely no sense.

Mike Blakely's tape coming out of high school was one of the best I have ever seen.......

I think it is being kept quiet, but Blakely's knee is not 100%. That being said, we would still have Mason, Grant, and McCalleb. Damn, I wish Jovon Robinson would've made it in. We could've used him.

If true, how soon would you auburn folks expect to see him in the rotation? This weekend?

If they believe that much in his ability at RB then why didn't he start there?

This one is perplexing. I actually think Therezie has elite potential at CB, but I guess I'm the only one who feels that way. Either way, doesn't matter. The move is, or doesn't seem to be, season changing for the Tigers. This one move shouldn't add or subtract a single win from their schedule in my opinion.

I could be wrong, but I don't think he actually spoke with trooper taylor regarding a move that has been confirmed by one guy

I have absolutely no clue. He hasn't practiced there at all until now. This is the kind of move I would've expected in the Spring or Summer. I guess we will see. I personally think Blakely's knee is still banged up, and I don't know what the deal with Corey Grant is.

So you sign one of the top safety prospects in the country after winning a recruiting battle with Saban and you move him to RB?

I think the player moved himself.

Yes he is an elite prospect, but he isn't getting any kind of DB coaching at AU, so he might as well run the ball for them. They have no real RBs and he is a gifted young man. He may wow us.
