I made that decision to be an Auburn fan when I was 4. 24 years later, I've just grown up SO much, ya see?

So, back to the subject, this guy is not playing RB this weekend. That's pretty much the general consensus. Moving on....

How much longer until your free trial of AOL expires and your single wide loses internet?

This move makes it obvious what auburns philosophy on offense will be from here on out.

I wouldn't think RB was a spot where AU needed bodies at this point.

Auburn has speedy small guys but nobody big inside since Jovon Robinson has left the team. I could see a need for a 200+ pounder inside. Especially one with a nasty streak.

Then why not do it before the season? And I thought this was his idea?

Chizik comments on the move:
quote:

“@ITATJason: Chizik on Robensen Therezie to RB-"We needed depth at tailback and have some young corners coming on"

Who are these younger cb? Am I wrong in saying that Bell, Mincy, Davis, and White - all four at least as old as Therezie - have gotten almost all the snaps at cb? And is RB not one of the deepest positions on the team? Blakey, Mason, and Omac have been one of the only bright spots it seems, right? What the hell is Chizik talking about? Why is this kid, who played in every game last year, not seeing the field?

there is entirely too much coach speak going on around Auburn. If we suck, the coaches need to call them out on it. Therezie moving to an already deep position a week into the season says that they are fricking retarded. They screwed Bates over moving him to linebacker, he had potential enough to be a drafted safety and now he has no chance.

I would love to know why we have kids with a lot of talent that other schools were drooling over riding pine behind a bunch of shitheads that gave up mid-game.

So you think it's just coach speak? that would explain the nonsense. Still doesn't explain why an athlete like Therezie isn't playing when he did as a freshman and the secondary is clearly turrible.

Would spring practice be the time you move players around from offense and defense and such?

I think there is a lot of problems going on and our coaching staff tends to hold grudges for a long time. If we are going to suck (and we do), then I would rather suck getting experience for our talented kids. Just look back at Trey Blackmon and Eltoro, both were dumbs as bricks but both could ball when they got some steam up.

We need to just let the most talented kids on the field and let them play where they are best suited. Therezie is and was talented in the secondary and showed flashes last year. Him moving to running back, whether his idea or the coaches, is fricking retarded.

Exactly. I agree with you.part of why ths interests me is because he is a kid hat I remember bama going after. Rivals as I recall had hum rated as the hardest hitting db out of high school, he played in 13 games as a freshman. There was a lot lf preseason buzz here about him. Auburn has looked terrible in the secondary, not a flame, just a fact. I can't figure this one out. That Chizik quote would piss me off if I were an auburn fan. Young cb coming on? Who?!? Has therezie even seen the field at all?

Therezie wanted to be moved to RB so they moved him. He was buried on the depth chart at CB, and Holsey and Jonathon Jones have impressed. They just aren't quite ready yet.
