You just entered the toughest part of you schedule. You have to go to Arkansas and LSU, and play Auburn and Mississippi State at home. I dont think you guys are any better off now than you were at the start of the season.

Do I really have to explain this?

The last 3 games we have been playing better football than the 1st 3, ergo we are in a better place as a team.

Obviously the schedule is tougher, but the point is we have been playing better.

Every team left on our schedule is beatable, who knows what will happen

Does Masoli play defense? He's been solid for us as our starting QB, which he didn't do vs. Jax St. We need a mobile QB considering how young our OL is.

Have you watched any of our games and seen how our WRs drop easy TDs and do nothing to help him out? I bet you haven't.

We are in better place now that we were in the beginning of the season, but I get it - you hate OM. It's very clear

I don't like Ole Miss. That does not change the reality of things, which I stated in the OP. Ole Miss is a horrible football team and the Masoli experiment has failed. You will see just how bad it failed when you have to start a QB with no experience in Ole Miss's system as a starter again next year as opposed to having him take his lumps this year.

The Masoli move, by its very nature, was taken in order to put Ole Miss in a better position to contend for the West...otherwise it is not worth the risk. Ole Miss will, in all likelihood, finish butt-naked last in the West...experiment failed.

And back to the point of the thread, Mullen and MSU have officially taken the "juice" in MS. With the respective directions of the programs, it is not far fetched to assume that said juice will be with State for as long as Mullen is in Vegas.

I started the thread to acknowledge that I was wrong about State and to congratulate them on turning a big ship in a small space.

As to Ole Miss, once again, they have a horrible football team, an embarrassing mascot situation and a failed experiment at QB that will continue to cost them next year...good luck with that.

Auburn's D sucks. Arkansas' D is weak. LSU is capable of sucking and has JJ/JL. MSU passes for 50 yards per game and it's a rivalry game. UT sucks. UL-Lafayette sucks.

Everyone one of those teams can be defeated by OM. It's obviously not going to happen, but all of those teams have flaws that can be exploited on any giving Saturday. I'd say OM wins at least a few of it's remaining games.

What's so delusional about BM saying that? He didn't say OM was going to run the table. Have you always been this thick?

What in hayul are you talking about brah? We have the talent to beat anyone left on our schedule on any given day, all of which have glaring flaws.

I think we'll finish w/ 6 or 7 wins - there's nothing delusional about that .

I guess I can see what your saying how Ole Miss is capable of beating anybody left on their schedule, BUT they are also capable of losing to everybody left on their schedule except for La Lafayette.

Talent alone cant win football games, just ask Florida and Georgia about that. They have been reeling top 10 recruiting classes for years and look at this season.

Mini Favre??? He has no chance of starting at all next year.

No chance? I say BS. I don't expect him to start but he definitely has a chance.

Losing the top leaders on the team hurts, even if you do have good classes. Losing Tebow hurt Florida big time. Just like us losing Dex hurt us big time. It sucks to replace the badasses on your team.

We lost Anthony Dixon the all time leading rusher in MSU history. Vick Ballard and Ladarius Perkins have stepped in and not missed a beat.

Its all about Coaching, and Dan Mullen knows how to coach.

They are doing a great job filling in. I wouldn't say we haven't missed a beat though.

Also, yeah ole miss can beat anyone left on their schedule, and they can lose to anyone on their schedule. Even if they win the egg bowl, which is very possible, the OP is still correct about the tide turning in MS.

Your poor sentence structure skills aside, do you play for Ole Miss? If not, YOU won't be beating anyone.

Moreover, YOU are upset because YOU cannot argue with anything I have said. YOU know that Ole Miss sucks and that the Masoli experiment has failed. YOU also know that the tide has turned in favor of State of Mississippi.
