Just shows you are uninformed..Louisville will be a good team in a bad conference without a championship game..TCU and Baylor both return a ton of players from very young teams..TCU is the only Big 12 team to play any defense and Baylor scored like Oregon the 2nd half of the season.

Yea but do you understand what you even just said? They play in bad conferences and don't play ANYONE! That's the whole problem, they don't see that type of athlete until they run into something like Bama. Would you have said Louisville before they beat Florida? I surely hope not and if you wouldn't have then you are the one that is uninformed, you don't beat someone like Bama just because you show up and win a game that is your super bowl

And they both had losing records in he Big 12 this season. TCU lost to Iowa State at home for instance.

Louisville plays such a weak schedule in a dying conference that they would probably get jumped by a bunch of 1 loss teams, so I don't think they will ever make it to a championship game.

Baylor only went 10-3 with RGIII as their quarterback. I don't see them winning any national championships.

I could see TCU making a run, but I don't think they will have the horses to beat an elite SEC team in the national championship.

I agree. IMHO Bama lost that game because they were drained and beat up from the game with us. Cudos to A&M for a great season and curb stomping OU, but they aren't there yet.

I love this argument.
Its not like A&M didn't go through the entire season without a bye or play a stretch of 5/6 on the road with the Bama game being the last game of that stretch. Not to mention, that lone home game was LSU. We were also the only SEC team to have to play 3 straight road games, with Bama being the third.

It really is ridiculous logic that people come up with to try to discredit that win.

No, but given us and Alabama's incredibly easy SEC East schedule, and LSU's ridiculous East schedule, September 14th at Kyle Field all but decides the division.

I agree with you for the most part. In 2011, LSU had a ridiculously hard schedule and was supposed to be a year away from being a National Title Contender, and 2012 was supposed to be our year where all the chips aligned. It could happen again, you never know with Les.

Meh. Let them do that. I say congrats to A&M on their first year in the SEC, but it is funny that most everyone thinks that they are automatically at the top of the West based upon that one season. A lot can happen over the next few months.

The gap is huge.

No it is not. The Big 10 showed it could hang with the SEC in bowl season, Clemson showed they were better than LSU by outplaying them all night, and Louisville took Florida behind the woodshed.

How you can make a statement like that during a down year for the SEC is beyond me. Is the SEC better than all the other conferences? Undoubtedly. Is the gap huge? Not at all.

The great unknown in all of this back and fourth about A&M is the defense. If the defense preforms well next year I like our chances to go far if not we will be roughly where we are today. Jmo

Urban Myer and Ohio State will end the streak eventually. He is the only coach that has proven he can beat the top teams in the SEC.

Only if he finds another Tebow.

So Urban went undefeated at Utah without Tebow and won a National title without him being the starter basically.

Not saying OSU ends the streak but Urban can recruit with the best of them

It's not going to be Michigan, Notre Dame, and Oregon. The school that will end the SEC streak will be a school from a state with a lot of in-state talent like USC, Texas, or Florida State.

I predict it won't happen till the move to the 4 team playoffs. They'll either stick 1 SEC team in or if they actually put 2 SEC teams they'll match them up in the first game. Anything to stack the deck against the SEC to stop them from making all other conferences a non issue in regards to the title.

Big 10 gonna be a cake walk for Urban next year, tho they do have to visit Purdue and they never really play well there. Wisc,Penn St and Iowa all at home. Thats gravy!! Mich in Ann Arbor but I dont see them losing unless Braxton Miller somehow does not play that game due to injury
