He said that they all three go 1-1 vs each other. That's not a far fetched statement is it? That's exactly what happened this year between the three. How does that statement mean that anyone thinks LSU will be elite? I think we probably lose two or three games next year and still go 1-1 against those two teams. That by no means is elite to me

Like I previously said, yes we could all go 1-1 against eachother, but LSU will clearly be the worst of the three. Probably lose to Florida as well, and A&M still wins the West. I love this scenario.

My list would include ND..Ohio State, Mich, Nebraska, out of the BiG, Texas, TCU and Baylor out of the Big 12, Louiville out of the Big east, Clemson and FSU out of the ACC, and Oregon and Stanford in the Pac12..Of that group, Louiville may have the best shot at being an unbeaten team next year.

I would take that in a heartbeat. Ain't no one running the table from the West next year.

My. God.

I have a feeling you're young, but this is like saying Ole Miss and State have a chance. Yes they will have decent years every now and then, but no. Just no.

I think it's more than just about recruiting. It's about being tested against the best week in and week out. Squeaking by Pitt in overtime and calling yourself 'battle tested' is never going to cut it. SEC kids will always be more ready to perform on the biggest of stages.

No, but given us and Alabama's incredibly easy SEC East schedule, and LSU's ridiculous East schedule, September 14th at Kyle Field all but decides the division.

You are basing your teams just off of one year. Can't do that each team will be different the very next year

Agree, barring something unusual.

Don't think it decides the division, way way too early. It will definitely put the winner in the driver's seat, but don't know about deciding the division

True. SEC teams (most of them) go up against good players everyday on their own teams in practice, if the coaches are developing the players correctly.

SEC players for the most part just aren't soft - they fight hard to the very end, they don't give up or lay down for any opponent.

No, it's not a far fetched statement at all. It very well could happen. I just don't think LSU will have the talent on their defensive line to beat Texas A&M or Alabama.

In order to beat A&M, I think that a team is going to need a front four that can really harass Manziel on their own, and I don't think LSU will be able to do that next year.

This is the main reason for me. ND hadn't been up against players that fast, big, and physical all year. Bama has been playing those type players everyday in practice and every week in league play

Meh. Let them do that. I say congrats to A&M on their first year in the SEC, but it is funny that most everyone thinks that they are automatically at the top of the West based upon that one season. A lot can happen over the next few months.

And as of today I would probably agree with you, but I think our young LBs continue to develop and think they will help out for lack of experience on the line. Again don't think we will be elite, but just think we win one of the two

Point well taken. It's difficult to correctly evaluate A&M given our small sample size of games played in this league, but the early results indicate that we're near the top of the West, at the very least, and that teams WILL have to deal with the Ags if they want to rep the West in Atlanta. A&M will have to back it up next year, but the rest of the league is on notice.

No doubt about that. I think Bama and A&M are front runners for the west with ole miss or lsu playing spoiler to someone
