How many QB' s in the History of College Football have ever won 3 and maybe 4 Natty' s? And now standing at a
34-2 record how many more to be the best of the best? JFF no doubt is good, but he has already got his Heisman. If AJ wins the next 4 he' d be 38-2, tell me who is better this year and why they deserve it more.....

Let's see some Gifs of Winston's "great" plays.

The guy is a good QB who is surrounded by great talent and plays shitty defenses. He hasn't faced a real pass rush, against the only defense he's played with a pulse Miami he threw some bad INTs and most of his production was dump offs to his RBs.

He's good but honestly if you put Mett or Murray on that team are there stats any worse?

Stop buying media hype you lemmings.

If only the Heisman were a career award.

And when it is awarded, he will not have won that possible 3rd title.

JFF should win it again regardless.

But the Heisman has turned into the NBA MVP, which is more of a best player on the best team type of award, instead of most outstanding player.

But that's not what the heisman trophy is for. I agree with what you said but it goes to the best player in college football. Do you believe AJ is the best player? I don't think anyone on this board believes that including some of the biggest Bama homers. AJ deserves a lot of awards for being an accomplished winner, but the heisman is not one of them.

The heisman is awarded a month before the BCSCG.

AJ is a great player and a perfect fit for Bama but giving him the Heisman would be kind of like Vinny Testaverde, Jason White, Gino Toretta, etc. winning it. Those were all really good players but they all really won it because they were the QB on great teams.

As for me I stopped thinking of AJ as a Heisman guy this season after the VT game. He was average to bad and very exposed when his OL was having trouble blocking and the running game wasn't getting going. He went 10/23 for 110 yards with 1 pick and 1 TD while of course being no running threat. Yet Bama still won the game going away because of their D and special teams. I can't imagine how badly A&M would lose if Johnny dropped a turd like that.

AJ is a guy that needs a lot of help to be great. Nothing wrong with that and he is better than a lot of guys who have Heismans. The problem is with a guy like Johnny around he looks very bland and even though Bama beat A&M not many folks walked away feeling like AJ was the better QB, esp Non Bama fans. Giving him the Heisman would be essentially calling him GOAT and I don't think many folks really think of him that way.

I am pretty sure Johnny would trade his Heisman for a NC ring though and I doubt AJ would make that trade either. AJ will have a nice pro career and be a legend for the rest of his life in Alabama. There are worse things.

No Quarterback makes plays on their own. Football is a team game. Manziel doesn't put up numbers without an OL blocking for him or Evans catching those jump balls (which are dumb plays to even be risking).

But its a dumb argument to hold it against a pro style QB because they have talent around them.

What SEC school was Nick Marshall kicked out of, again? I guess he DOES have something in common with $Cam.

I don't really care for Nick Marshall and I'm certainly not touting him for the Heisman though he is more valuable to Auburn that AJ is to alabama.

Retarded not having the guy that could very well be the front runner on your list. Winston has to be in Finalists if not the winner.

Then just wait until the end of the year, see who has the best stats, and give him the award.

I don't hold it against AJ that he has talent around him but I do expect him to be able to make plays and lead his team when they aren't playing well. He can't be "just a guy" in big games and expect to be a Heisman winner.

This is especially true for a guy like AJ that isn't an exceptional athlete and makes his bones by being a great game manager. Johnny can make a bad play but make up for it with 3 great plays that very few human beings could accomplish. He makes his talent obvious and he is someone you can't help but watch even if you hate the guy. Johnny can have a 400 yard Total Offense game on a bad day.

How many rings does the kicker have ? I guess he should be Lou Groza Award winner based on that logic.
