I agree. Stats aren't the soul criteria.

AJ led the nation in passing efficiency last year, and is 8th now. SEC has some highly rated QB's in passing efficiency:

JFF 3rd
Mett 5th
AJ 8th
Shaw 9th
Murray 13th
Carta-Samuels 36th
Wallace 39th
Marshall 54th

There have been three.

But its a dumb argument to hold it against a pro style QB because they have talent around them.

It's not dumb at all. A.J. isn't the reason Bama wins--never has been, never will be.

He might be the most insignificant QB out of all the top 25 teams.

When you look at what JFF has to do week in and week out it's insulting to even suggest A.J. shares a similar level of greatness. His job is to not lose games. JFF's job is to win them.

So AJ is doing his job and Manziel isn't. Again if you don't think AJ has won ball games for us since he has been a starter then you are delusional.

Hell, Bama's deep snapper is doing his job.

Why not give it to him?

Each week A.J. is charged with coloring within the lines while JFF is expected to paint a Van Gogh.

Manziel has thrown 11 interceptions that is pitiful.

Please, think less critically.

We have 3 championships in the past 4 years. I think we will be fine.
Say Bama loses to Aubie this year, does AJ go down as the most overrated overhyped Sec Qb of all time since he will only have one Sec title as a starter? Hell JJ and Tee Martin have done that

Maybe Manziel should learn to color inside the lines first?

Then give it to Evans. Let's face it, if he weren't so good JFF would have thrown a lot more interceptions this year. He makes Johnny look better than he is. JFF throws the ball up in the air and really has no idea where it's going, and Evans goes and gets it. In my opinion JFF is not having a better year...but Evans is, and if AJ can't win the Heisman, I would prefer that Evans wins it.

There will be some legendary butthurt going on when you drop a game and don't even make it to the BCSCG.

How the hell can a Bama fan be butthurt? Experiencing our team winning 3 out of 4 BCSNC's and inking a current record of 71-6 in the last 6 seasons has been a salve on our asses that will last a looooooooooong while.

This has happened twice in 2013.

If it were as pervasive as you suggest, JFF wouldn't have a 73% completion percentage.

There's no way Bama fans are this dumb.
