Hell, most Ole Miss fans don't even believe this.
I can think of about 0 Ole Miss fans who would trade, FWIW.
What has Petrino done to make you love him so much? If basically anyone is better than Hootie, what makes BP so special?

An Orange bowl victory over WF who Nutt lost too last season.....
NFL experience which was not all his fault that it went bad.. see Michael Vick
One of the best coaches in the nation as far as winning percentage....
Gets offered and will continue to be offered lots of major college jobs each and every season based on his reputation alone.
Ask UT or AUB if they would rather have Petrino then the clowns they have?

Considered a top offensive mind in all of football by...well....everyone.
Kicked arse at Louisville.
Extremely professional.
Has brought our football program into the 21st century.
Recruited better in his first 2 years than Nutt ever did in 10.
He'll never climb a latter or sob like he just lost his first born after a big win.
He doesn't constantly talk about how "precious wins are in this conference."
He doesn't blame players for losses.
He doesn't blame other coaches for losses.
In the same vein, he takes blame, something Nutt could never do.
He doesn't ask players to move their relative's funerals, on the contrary, he gives them all the time they need.
He doesn't take snaps from recruits in his office.
He's developed more QB talent in two years than Nutt did in ten.
He hired a BCS coach to coach nothing but special teams....Nutt has his special ed buddy Shibest running them.
Petrino doesn't scream at national TV analysts on national TV begging for Heisman votes.
Petrino doesn't antagonize fans he doesn't agree with.
I could keep going for hours, but you get the point.

Petrino is a glorified offensive coordinator. He was a poor recruiter at Louisville and his recruiting is poor now. He's alot like Norm Chow. Chow never could get a head coach job b/c he didn't have the personality for it but he was a great offensive mind.
Nutt might not be as elaborate in the x0 part but he can hire someone to do that and he has, Kent Austin. Austin is no better or worse than Petrino.

I was talking about what has he done in his 1st year at Arkansas, like changing the culture, relationship with the fans, etc... but whatever.
Is he really that "professional"? Come on man don't bullshite me.

He's real dry, articulate and calculated. He doesn't show any emotion. He talks in a monotone voice all the time. Petrino has a more professional aura about him but he doesn't entertain or sell as well. Nutt alot of times speaks the same rah-rah language to the camera he uses on the field to keep players fired up. That's why Ark fans have developed the perception he's less professional.
Swine brought up a list of theory that is not relevant.

Petrino is not rah rah he is all business and he works hard and puts in a lot of time -- Media does not like him because he can come across as lacking enthusiasm or not being eager enough but as has been said he does not throw players and coaches under the bus to save his own arse.....

Ok, I'll edit my list:
Extremely professional.
Has brought our football program into the 21st century.
Recruited better in his first 2 years than Nutt ever did in 10 (culture change b/c we got a lot of out of state guys with big-time offers last year that Nutt would have been too lazy to go after).
He'll never climb a latter or sob like he just lost his first born after a big win.
He doesn't constantly talk about how "precious wins are in this conference."
He doesn't blame players for losses.

Petrino doesn't scream at national TV analysts on national TV begging for Heisman votes.
Petrino doesn't antagonize fans he doesn't agree with.
As you can see, the list is still pretty long.
And yes, Petrino is extremely professional. There are no more bullshite leaks out of the program all the time, no more reporters with access, no more boosters on the sideline fricking with players, no more discussing playing time with parents, etc.
It couldn't be more night and day between the two.

Petrino failed miserably in the NFL man. The players hated him. NO players had anything good to say about him. He was hired there b/c he won a nobody cares bcs game with someone elses recruits. He was hired to sell tickets. He was a poor hire and he is a poor head coach.
His x0 ability is no better or worse than Kent Austin's based on the plays I watched from both teams last year. I doubt he's gonna be any better at developing a QB either.

You are right your boy Nutt has more experience with the drug and thug players -- Petrino will not even let them remain on the team. This season is a test for Petrino this should be his first season which you should judge him by. At least Petrino made it to coach in the NFL your boy Nutt will not ever be an NFL coach --- but keep dreaming about moral national championships and the Ole Miss Webels SEC West Championship rings which might could be ordered after the season is over.....

Hawg, that might not be accurate. You should look at what has happend to Kragthorpe with Petrino's players. There has been some things going, for him to have dismissed and sat that many people.

well he certainly didn't recruit better in 2 years than Nutt ever did.
The other stuff is irrelevant. For instance, you say he never throws players under the bus after a loss, (or something like that). Petrino threw Casey under the bus for not picking up some hot read on a blitz against SC. He also threw the refs under the bus at least once after the ole miss game, and I'm thinking also after the Kentucky game.
The other stuff is a meaningless hill of beans, if you will.
you could also say, When Nutt's Defensive tackle wanted a 1 on 1 meeting with him , he had it. When Petrino's DT wanted that in the NFL, he was told to go see his posistion coach, according to ESPN. So, your theories, or list is irrelevant b/c a similar list can be made already, about Petrino. But, Yes, I agree some aspects of him come across more professional. But, I still think Nutt's rah rah players coach style will easily win out over a the someone with the personality of a rock.

The fact that WRT will even give Petrino this much shows you how night-and-day it is with Petrino vs. Nutt.
I am damn impressed with the way Petrino runs his program. Nutt was so unorganized he tried to move WR's to DE during the second week of fall camp for years.

he wanted to use Ryan Mallet as a TE
the kid will probably have one of the highest national QB ratings after this season
