Wow. Just wow.

Dude was extremely overrated on the field and a total POS off the field. He'll never take another snap in the nfl.

Setting SEC records is overrated.

Tyrann Mathieu better than Tebow and JFF
It pains me to say this because I am a huge fan of his and am really happy he seems to have turned his life around.
But, a player that got kicked off the team and then kicked out of school should NEVER be included on any greatest player list. Not a conference list, nor a school list. nothing.
He's ineligible.

could have stopped at Bo and Hershel.

JFF is the single most dynamic player I have seen personally in my short life. I'm not really concerned about his off the field stuff.
I saw him live twice...and he sucked.
If bama fans bash LF7 because of his performance at bama...then we can do the same for JFF because he was downright bad against LSU both times.

Aaron Murray holds tons of SEC records, but I would not put him in the same class as the guys in the poll.
I agree with you there as well.

No on that I've ever seen play had as much impact on the outcome of a game as Mathieu and Cam. They're 1 and 2 in no particular order.

LSU isn't Bama baw

His one SEC record is as much a credit to his receivers as to him, if not more. He was athletically gifted. I'll say that, but it's a disgrace to even mention him with the SEC greats.
I know being an Aggie you never had shite so I'm trying to be nice about it.

And JFF shouldn't be on the SEC GOAT list
This really isn't hard

That's like your opinion, man

Fair enough but he was a far more dynamic football player than JFF. It's not even close.

Well, they got 2 out of 4 right.
Still a failing grade on a test.

Bad fricking poll. Only full twits would put Jonnyfrickingjoke on the list. GD embarrassment to college football.

I think most of the TAMU posters here know I'm in no way hostile to y'all, but the observation that Manziel, for all his accomplishments as a QB in the SEC, never led TAMU to a title of any kind is a fair one. As a team sport, football is going to be judged on team accomplishments as well as individual ones, and a QB is going to be judged even more so.
The same can be said for Bo, I admit, but Bo had two things going for him: 1) he was clearly the best all-around athlete of not just the 4 here but in SEC history; and 2) he had fewer team-oriented expectations on him as an RB rather than a QB. But if TAMU posters want to argue the whole goose/gander thing, I will acknowledge they have a point.
Edit: My bad. Auburn won the SEC in '83. Sometimes it's hard to remember that there were SEC titles before the SECCG was instituted.

Auburn should have won the national title in 1983. Absolutely hosed, been discussed numerous times on this site. They had a better resume by far than Miami or Nebraska.
