And it sure as he'll didn'the mean much to his NFL career.

The guy was a complete game changer at LSU...one of the best I've ever watched.

The poll is still active until the 8th. Appears a lot of Aggies have found the poll.

JFF was a 9th seed in his bracket and has advanced. No way he's one of the greatest SEC players. Not even top 20.

He had a great run at Texas A&M but I wouldn't put him on the Mt. Rushmore of greatest p

People forget the talent he had around him. People also forget how important Percy Harvin was in the UF offense when Tebow was QB.

As much as it pains me to say it I have to say Cam is the best player I have watched in my lifetime.

The poll it's self had hm as one of the 4 9 seeds , so they expected him to be ranks between 33-36. so there's that.

you have been snookered (no surprise to me). there is NO SUCH THING AS THE TOP FOUR. just think of who they are omitting; y.a. title, ken stabler, joe Namath, cam robinson, and others that I can name at QB alone that were as good or better than JFF. there's no question that Bo and Herschel deserve top RB billing but there are other positions that should be considered also. tyrone mathiew (sp) changed the outcome of numerous ballgames, included an SEC title game. but the SEC has had some of the greatest defensive players of all times.

as usual, these lists are garbage yet they still attract certain readers.

Key word is probably. It would have been great to see if he could put back to back seasons together and cement his place. Unfortunately he didn't.

Clearly they forgot about Jake Holland.

Nah, Holland isn't deserving. It's total bullshite that Wade Christopher didn't make the list though.

I think his point was the rings and/or the lack of.....however, I have never put a lot of stock in a team accomplishment to judge an individual player. Tyrann does suffer the same fate as JManziel, though. While off the field antics mean nothing as far as football ability, it is almost impossible to separate the two.

What's Manziel's legacy? Sneaking into a Vegas club by wearing a wig after he couldn't cut it in the NFL?

Cam just won the NFL MVP on a team that had little to no offensive weapons outside of Greg Olsen and himself. Manziel won't ever take another snap in the NFL because he can't keep his nose clean.

I understand what you are saying, but how do you separate a player from the "system'? I mean, couldn't the same be said about Tebow? (And I really liked Tebow) I mean, Herschel carried the ball a lot. A WHOLE lot. It could be argued that he got his yards because he carried the ball a lot...or it could be argued that it was harder to get the yards because everybody KNEW he was going to get the ball.

There are arguments for and against everybody.

True. But what I am saying is for most fans it is very difficult to separate the two. Whether it is right or wrong, personality enters into it.

That wasn't his job. Seems funny that people criticize him for his beliefs and for showing his beliefs, then criticize him if he did not rub off on his teammates.
