What?! LOL No. I am being realistic about coach Brian Kelly ability to win a championship at LSU or elsewhere at the P5 level. That coach is not a great HC that is the truth. He is not a championship HC.

39 scholarship players to two 10 win seasons, a trip to Atlanta and a Heisman Trohy in 2 years. Certainly seems like a terrible fit to me.

Neither was Les Miles. Or Ed Orgeron.

Relax. Enjoy life and a great 2023 season.

Look, I think Kellie has done moderately well up north, but I’m not sure if he’s long for the south

Sorry I made typed this wrong. I fix it now.
Is winning bunch of games and no championship is okay for Kelly is the new standard at LSU?

It’ll be interesting to see what LSU does without JD next year. If the defense doesn’t improve they may have a down year

LSU won 10 games with the worst defense of all time. BK is not even remotely in trouble. In fact, he's getting praise for firing that staff despite the wins.

I understand finding the positive but the alternative take is Kevin Sumlin had two fine seasons with mediocre to all-time bad defense and a Heisman Trophy winning QB. I'd argue that Kelly's track record of consistently winning tends towards making the positive take the more accurate one but we shall see...

He fired the entire defensive staff for those results. What about that decision makes you think the results are ok or the new standard?

I am going against the grain here, but I do not think JD5 has a good season at LSU next year.

Yep. Ohio State has a new, experienced center coming in through the transfer portal. Mr. Seth McLaughlin.

He hired them two years ago and yet need to replace them once again. This isn't a good look for Kelly. It is who he is as a HC. Find a reason to blame others but not himself. If he doesn't win a championship within 3 years, will he still be the HC?
