That we won?

Oh, I'm so rustled.

Help me, someone, I can't get over beating LSU at home.

It's such a drag that they have to play two years in a row @Gainesville.

Following Florida fans around and trying to harass them for outplaying your program off and on the field isn't helping your case.

I rooted for Florida because I want lsu and Florida to be the first permanents to meet in Atlanta. I would have been heartbroken if my tigers had pulled off the win.

Dear Sir, I can assure you that Joe Alleva made no such offer. I invite you to submit a public records request to LSU, asking for emails from the athletic offices there pertaining to this game. You will not receive any records demonstrating such an offer was made.

Not needed. From the horses mouth.
Noooo. Not your big-toothed head coach, ignoramus. Alleva....

"I want our fans and everyone to know LSU made every attempt to try and play this game," Alleva said at a Thursday evening press conference. "We offered to go to Gainesville on Sunday, fly in Sunday morning and fly back Sunday night. We offered the opportunity for them to come here Saturday or Sunday.

Dear Sir,

Again, I encourage you to solicit the records from LSU. Claims were made they had flights to Tampa and other locations, with reservations for buses to and from Gainesville upon arrival; and, that they also offered to host the game in Baton Rouge. These are quite detailed and lengthy plans, with many back and forth discussions. After participating in such discussions for decades, I can attest to the back and forth required. Solicit these records from LSU. As I said before, you will not receive them because those plans were not made and neither were the offers.

It is important to remember that LSU claimed these offers were made early in the week, when it appeared Gainesville would be lightly affected by the hurricane. When the forecast abruptly changed and placed Gainesville in the crosshairs of the storm, there was a long lull in discussions. In Gainesville we were re-calibrating. If the detailed solutions from LSU were in fact etched out and relayed to the SEC Commissioner, the lone remaining piece would have been a discussion with TV, to find out what they could or could not support. From there, it would have been a very minor issue to determine on a LSU-generated contingency for playing in Gainesville or Baton Rouge.

The long gap in decision making mid-week is testament to the fact that these plans and offers from LSU did not exist. The simple fact is that we at the Univ. of Fla. continued to re-calibrate as the forecast changed and late that week the postponement decision was made.

I trust this satisfies your angst and curiosity about this issue. If official documents can be produced from LSU to refute this, I will be happy to address this issue with you again in the future.

I wish the best for you and all Tiger fans during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Foley

Dear SEC Fans,

As some of you may know, there was a scuffle in the LSU press box after Saturday's game, and Joe Alleva kicked out all Florida-based media.

Please join me in sending out thoughts and prayers to the affected individuals, and hopes that there were no injuries.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Foley

There is no way that game should have been played at Williams-Brice.

No way.

And ... I say that after living here and waiting 3 years for my Tigers to visit. Had tickets and everything for the whole family.

Mother Nature had different plans.

LSU offered to fly in, play the game and fly out that same day. Fri, Sat or Sun. So your hotel argument is moot. Also offered to play in an empty stadium. So your security and EMS argument is moot.

This. Still spreading misinformation. LSU expected the game to postponed until Sunday or Monday and if it could not have been played then for any reasons they would have bent over backwards to accommodate
