This. Still spreading misinformation. LSU expected the game to postponed until Sunday or Monday and if it could not have been played then for any reasons they would have bent over backwards to accommodate
Dear Sir,
Please request the official records from LSU. As a state university they are obligated to provide such records upon request. You will find these plans and offers were not made.
Let us move on and proudly represent this fine conference.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Foley

Mr. Foley, have you read the Art of the Deal? Scott Adams? 3D Chess?

Dear Josh,
I have briefly reviewed or looked at those items. However, the bulk of my study while Athletic Director was aimed at the occult. Introductions to this material can be found on youtube, at the styxhexenhammer666 channel. The young man at that channel outperformed every major prognosticator in this year's election.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Foley

Will you be teaching a class on what you've learned in the near future?
Posted on 11/22/16 at 8:32 am to joshnorris14
Dear Josh,
Not sure about teaching. I think I'll focus on traveling and catching some Red Sox games. I may assist Curt Schilling with his Congressional campaign as well.

Jeremy Foley

Again, I encourage you to solicit the records from LSU. Claims were made they had flights to Tampa and other locations, with reservations for buses to and from Gainesville upon arrival; and, that they also offered to host the game in Baton Rouge. These are quite detailed and lengthy plans, with many back and forth discussions. After participating in such discussions for decades, I can attest to the back and forth required. Solicit these records from LSU. As I said before, you will not receive them because those plans were not made and neither were the offers.
Ill give you that. Question remains, why would LSU choose to not play this game at the scheduled date? Florida had more to gain by not playing than LSU. Outside of incompetence and poor planning on Allevas part what motive would LSU have to not play this game?
Also consider that LSU has gone through this before. Just last year in fact and is quite familiar with the process. I think most impartial observers would defer to LSUs judgement on this matter. It also lends more credibility to LSUs claims. Its more likely that it was UF that dropped the ball or skirted the game.
quote:
It is important to remember that LSU claimed these offers were made early in the week, when it appeared Gainesville would be lightly affected by the hurricane. When the forecast abruptly changed and placed Gainesville in the crosshairs of the storm, there was a long lull in discussions.
So then the questions is in a State like Florida that sees as many if not more hurricanes than LA, why would there not be contingency plans for such an event?
quote:
The long gap in decision making mid-week is testament to the fact that these plans and offers from LSU did not exist.
Again, none of us were there so we can only all speculate as to what was really said. Private phone calls arent necessarily recorded as a matter of public record or subject to FOIA requests. To the outside observer it was UFs administration that dragged this matter out mid-week with no plan in place. LSU wasnt hosting the event. Its not their responsibility to formula plans on such a dynamic situation that, once again, should have consisted of a Plan A, B and C all based on different scenarios and as flexible as the weather is fickle.
quote:
The simple fact is that we at the Univ. of Fla. continued to re-calibrate as the forecast changed and late that week the postponement decision was made.
Why postpone indefinitely? Why not have a plan in place for Sunday or Monday or any other day of the week after landfall? This is the biggest question mark in many peoples minds.

Dear Nola000,
I assure you this is 100% legitimate. This unfortunate issue with LSU is perhaps the most contentious of my decades-long career in collegiate athletics.
I hope you will request those records from LSU. Both schools deserve full transparency here, for the good of the conference.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Foley
P.S. I see that you have begun editing and deleting your posts. Hopefully you will leave future comments untouched for the good of the group, so they can see the excellent points you make.

Dear DBU,
As Athletic Director I did not get exposed to much fan banter. Are the rolling eyes picture you posted what fans refer to as, "melting"?
Thank you.

Dear Sir,
I humbly apologize, if these comments have upset you and other Tiger fans. Might I suggest you take the two hour seminar in safe space training, offered by LSU? You may then be equipped to help and heal, much better than I would be able to do.
LSU Safe Space Training
Thank you.

Our state was destroyed. We needed the home game revenue more than ever. That's why alleva didn't want to leave BR. We actually had a real disaster. To bad some ppl aren't smart enough to see that

Dear Sir,
This situation took two home games from the Gainesville community. LSU lost no home games and was spared the expense of travel to a road game.
As I alluded to earlier, that is close to 20% of the annual income for many of our local businesses.
We at the University of Florida acknowledge that fiscal health in Louisiana and at LSU is not one the same level as the state of Florida and UF, respectively. But losing 30% of the highest impact revenue stream at the university is quite significant, particularly when coupled to the expenses related to traveling to an extra road game.
This ordeal is behind us, but I ask that you bear in mind the financial damage done to the local Gainesville community as well.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Foley

Dear Sir,
Is it, 'All the Way'? I hope I have it correct this time.
One of our ROTC instructors I got to know on campus said smoking while in uniform is now prohibited. Do they relax those rules when you are in war? I see you are smoking in your picture.
If you are keeping us safe, you should be able to smoke if you want. It's the least that can be done for such effort.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Foley
