Is that most Bama fans probably want LSU to win their bowl. It makes the conference look better, and they don't feel insecure about LSU's success.

For the record I am an A&M fan but I hope LSU wins it's Bowl because I think Louisville is the most amoral athletic department of all time (barely beating out Baylor and Penn State). Honestly though even if LSU was playing someone else I would still root for them to win because I can respect their success.

Unless Louisville's athletic department is covering up murders, I don't see it rivaling PSU's cover-up of child sex abuse.

The Penn State abuses were worse than any single thing Louisville has done, but really that was one bad coach covered up by a single coaching regime. Just because it was their best coaching regime ever doesn't mean their entire program can be said to be corrupt. I expect them to be more careful going forward.

Meanwhile Louisville keeps having scandal after scandal at every level of the athletic department, and at the very least has one administration after another sign off on coaches of questionable character just because they are successful.

To me that is worse than Penn State because I don't think the Louisville culture can ever be cleaned up. They just need to shut the whole AD down to fix it and I wish they would. It is sickening that not only have they acted amoral for a long time but their plan has worked and given them basketball titles along with a Power 5 invite.

Geaux Tigers

Honestly, in Alabama and on the Alabama chat boards, LSU is rarely mentioned except during the week of the football game. If mentioned at all, they are talked about with curiosity (funny little school with strange people with odd names on the edge of the conference) and respect, not hate or even as if they are important.

On the other hand, the LSU chat boards are all about Alabama all the time.

That is ok... but it is the perfect example of the rage that comes from being spurned. Rivalry application denied.

I have heard the song plenty of times. Classic of the 1990s.

This is stupid. Of course bama isn't rooting for us to lose. Us being good and winning has no impact on their dominance. Alabama continuing to win and dominating is not good for Lsu and they have pretty much single handily knocked us into mediocrity since their run started. Not that hard to understand the difference in rooting interests

We want bama to lose so Louisiana's top recruits will stop going there.

It's almost a given if you go to Bama you're going to win a championship.
