What's the big deal? It's not like they just pulled Col Reb yesterday. He's not been around for a few years, right? It sounds like they are upset about the mascot being a Black Bear which is just like the Tide's Elephant, right? That's how I understood it. If there were going to be an uproar shouldn't it have happened back when they originally decided to change mascots years ago?

I've still yet to see ANY proof of the supposed four Vaught Society members stopping contributions to Ole Miss. And until I see so, I'll continue to chalk that up to more bullshite coming from the Col. Reb lunatic fringe.

It happened....Just didn't happen like it was originally supposed to happen. A slight change in strategy came in to play.
