This was very obviously written by some slack jawed southerner...

to the Southeastern Conference and considered the Yankees of the conference, Mizzou’s bar scene isn’t as competitive as other members in the SEC. That being said, there is one bright spot in the bar deficient town of Columbia and it goes by the name of Harpo’s Bar and Grill. As far as I am concerned, it’s THE bar in town.

For the love of god. Choke on some sweet tea

It's been several years since I've been to BR, but I just remember their bars being spread out, rather than around one or two central areas. Tuscaloosa has the strip and downtown, both have at least a handful of bars to choose from.

I honestly don't remember most of the bars in SEC towns I've been to. For SEC sites I've been to more than once...

Fayetteville - Mickey Finns
Baton Rouge - I guess Chimes Highland but it's not really a bar, or The Bulldog maybe
Oxford - have been to the blind pig several times

Tuscaloosa - usually Egans and Houndstooth, but I like Black Warrior Brewing too.

This kid doesn't have a clue. Is he even old enough to drink?

Is it George's that's under the overpass? That place was a pretty good dive bar. Chelsea's sounds familiar as well. Is it or did it used to be near a Winn Dixie or some other store? Think we ate lunch there before the 96 Bama game.

I've been to George's for lunch, I know there is another georges and that is a gay bar. Maybe they have the same owners?
Chelsea's is also there. It's a fun place no doubt

see. Ive been to LSU 4 times but have really only been out once. I honestly dont remember the bar we went to but it was big and a pretty decent time.

The bars are fun, they just lack a good non dive bar
