I get it. If we stopped playing Auburn the last week of the season with OSU-Michigan, Ole Miss-State, Clemson-USCe, etc would really suck.

i don't care to ever play them again. i'm sure many ags do, but i do not. in the football/tailgate circles i run in, we dont sit around talking about the last time we played texas, how texas is doing that particular day, who their players are, how many votes they are receiving, or where they might finish in their conference.
we do talk recruiting head-to-heads, but that is the extent of it, and it is nice to slap them the first week in february.
we're here, and they're there, and they know they got the shitty end of the stick. the bad relationship ex-GF really is the perfect analogy. i'm just...done.

The Aggies don't miss Texas, not yet at any rate. Eventually the sheer desire to whip the Horns at least one more time will build up enough to seek out another game or two. It will take a few more years before that happens. Right now the Texas A&M is in a better place then they were so they don't miss the Horns.

Aggies made the 100 year decision and walked away from the sips. Truly there lot has improved. They have better recruiting, better footprint, and an equal say in the conference they belong in. Not to mention, more monies for all this.
