Well since this made it to 5 pages might as well keep going along.
I am very aware that the abbreviation for Georgia is a Ga. I write it every time I write my address.
I can understand the razzing and "dumbass" posts as it does make sense. But if you step back and look at football abbreviations across the country almost none use their state abbreviation as their last letter in the name. The majority are specifying the cities name in which they reside. Any logical person would wonder if it was the state abbreviation or the cities letter especially since it is capitalized.
