Agree, though the worst one I saw in 2013 that was overturned but the penalty still stood was the HaHa Clinton-Dix penalty against A&M in which he ran over and tried to intercept the ball and was called for targeting somehow.

Yeah they reviewed the hit by Ramik, decided it was not targeting, and still gave us a 15 yard penalty.

Yes. He would this year but I think that was the first time a QB had been hit post interception in a high profile game after the NFL concussion issue had come up. This year, and maybe because of that hit, they are protecting the QB even after an interception. So, he couldn't get away with it again.

Anyone that had played qb at any level had been told that after an interception, your head better be on a swivel because someone is coming for you. You never just jog towards the play. Ever.

Ray's hit was late but he actually initiates contact first with his hands/arms. It was bad but not as bad as being suplexed lol.

He was lucky he went down when he did, Touch that thang, Fo was coming with a full head of steam. Would have needed 911.

Then don't argue. I don't care about the other targeting calls. I did see the OSU guy, and he lowered his head and hit him helmet to helmet...facilitated in part because the other guy lowered his head also. Dial didn't...his face is up and the initial contact is at the shoulder/upper chest and the contact to the face mask is secondary, although the hit was so violent that it did create a whiplash effect. That doesn't mean it was targeting.
"Other posters"? Give me a fricking break. One of them is so stupid he doesn't realize that the crown of the helmet is the top.
