little brother problems.

Message to all that worry about this type of stuff:
This is why you are viewed as a little brother. Don't worry about it.

Have they already surpassed Texas in the national spotlight?

They will take a step back once Sumlin goes to the NFL.

It is inevitable. It is...their destiny.

He will probably end up in the NFL. But we locked him up for 3 years, so it won't be anytime soon.

ol. Both have exactly one modern national title. Better than A&M, but no where near a true blue blood like a Bama or LSU.

The horn Stockholm Syndrome-like condition in which some of you are mired is odd beyond words.

For the record, we're not worried about it. An Aggie didn't start this thread.

This discussion really belongs on the MSB, tbh. There's no erasing our history with texas, but I am far for intrigued by our SEC compatriots.

The horns are an old, tired, outdated topic of conversation.

And this brand of repetitive and riveting dialogue from message board dorks does nothing to augment the perceived intelligence associated with some of your institutions.

How many times and when was the last?
I think the big 12 has been around since 92.

Not according to this board.
I've instantaneously hit the bookmark button each time a horn thread emerges.
I just glanced over the list, and it's overwhelmingly non-maroon in hue.

(no offense at all to the OP, who seems like a genuinely good egg)

Won the South in 1997 and 1998, Tied for the South in 2010 (beat Oklahoma, lost to Oklahoma State, BCS ranking was tiebreaker)

Won the Big 12 in 1998 and would have won it in 2010 if we went to the title game, as we beat both teams that played in that game that season.

You thought wrong. 1996 was the first season of Big 12 play.

Sumlin sucks.
He'll go to the NFL.
He's gimmicky.
Sumlin has 20 wins in two SEC seasons.
The Ags will never win again.
SEC cellar dwellers for life.

THANK GOD today is the first day of practice.
I'm about to enter an SECr talking points-induced coma.

So in short Texas A&M has one big 12 championship. That was 16 years ago.

Baylor has one big 12 championship and a Heisman trophy winner too.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaa!

He doesn't suck at all.

Not gimmicky at at all, very good coach.

But he will go to the NFL.

2010......

That was the year LSU beat down Texas A&M in the cotton bowl. That game was a mismatch. Yall had Ryan Tannehill and Von Miller. I left the game thinking, man this Texas A&M team is terrible. I wished LSU could have played someone better.

Serious question: Why do you argue every point?
It's like you see "A&M," and some kind of hostile adrenaline shoots through your system.
There's nuthin' wrong with kicking back and enjoying life's ride, ya know?
Lord almighty, if I carried around the animus some of y'all did, I think I'd have to be drunk, 24/7.

It was a great comeback win for y'all, too. We fell apart when our leading linebacker was injured and we had no depth.

That game was a reference point for us highlighting the fact that we needed fat better recruiting once we came to the SEC.

Thanks for the wake up call.
