Every tu fan I know was rooting for OU in the cotton bowl in 2012. That should tell you something.

That we would've liked to maintain the status quo?

Based on the way the UTa posters act on this board, it seems like A&M is their bigger rival. OU seems like a weak sex gimp that does whatever the longhorns tell them to do. Maybe that is the difference. The Aggies don’t seem to dick ride UTa like OU does. I don’t know. Just how it seems to me. But, look at all of the posts on here. UTa seems obsessed with A&M.

Guy who hates Texas and has a kid at TAMU thinks Texas is obsessed with TAMU.

My opinions in the comment above are based on what I’ve observed from UTa fans on this site. They seem obsessed with the Aggies. Much more than with OU. And OU fans seem afraid to ever go against anything the UTa fans say or think. It’s bizarre for so called biggest rivals. OU fans come off as pussies.

OU fans have seen their school accomplish great things and thus don't feel the need to overcompensate by bloviating on a message board like Aggies do to their big brother.

I don’t hate Texas. Texas has never been on the radar of gators. No reason to have ever thought about longhorns. My kid is a freshman at A&M. Been there a little over a month. Hardly enough time or reasons for me to hate Texas. But, I’m sure I’ll get there if all Texas fans are like the posters on here.

OU fans seem like pussies who don’t dare to question longhorn fans. I guess that’s why you like them so much.

You are clearly an Aggie. Every thought you have about Texas or OU is straight out of the texags hivemind.

We OU fans are a bit sheepish because we lost 49-0 last year. We would look a bit foolish talking a lot of trash to Texas.

Meanwhile, we have scoreboard on you Reptiles in football, basketball, and baseball right now. We don't talk trash to you guys because it isn't a big deal.

Football: 9-3 advantage Texas

To most people, that is a 3 to 1 advantage. Are you sure you actually graduated? Maybe you should show us a copy of your diploma again.

Texas and Texas A&M have played 12 times this century, with Texas winning 9 and A&M winning 3 (hence: 9-3, advantage Texas)

Lol more of the "you're not allowed to use years we were bad while you were good " Again - how are the 80s and 90s more relevant that what has happened in this current century?

Talk about desperately grasping at straws (kind of like using a photo from a baseball game that wasn't even the most recent one played)

I mean, the OP asked Texas fans, and we answered

Don't blame us if aggie fans flood a thread that wasn't directed at them just to whine publicly.

I never said it was. I just remember how butt hurt you got when A&M kicked Utrans out of the CWS. You cried like bitch and disappeared.

Here, fill this out and send to Chicken. He won't do shite about it but maybe it will make you feel better.

there is a lot of truth to this on both sides.. every year

one of us always has bragging rights over the other, so right now.. we are trotting the 49-0 line out there every chance we get.. come Saturday.. we will either have a +2 or -1

rinse and repeat

99% of the back and forth between Texas and A&M comes from them moving the goalposts on every conversation. They know it. They won’t admit it. But Texas is going to make them drown in it until they stop moving the goalposts.

It’s stupid as shite. On both sides. But for some reason, that’s what we do.

I say Aggies sucks because the wall is green.
They say, nope, the wall may have been green yesterday, but only because we ran out of blue paint.. it doesn’t matter the argument, they will twist it and we will correct them.

Like I said, it’s fricking stupid. On both sides..

Again...

I was not around then but I'm sure you really handed it to those big bad longhorns online

Dude... you have got to get some new material. Seeing somebody post the same thing over and over again starts to get kinda cringe/sad.

My comment was as based on what I’ve observed on here by UTa posters since you guys started posting all the time.
You constantly bring up A&M. I can’t remember any of you ever saying anything about OU.

Texas-OU is a top four college football rivalry featuring two historic blue blood programs, TX/TXA&M is a top in state rivalry that is lobsided with one being royalty and the other an underachieving wannabe.

I graduated from both Auburn and Texas, so I know what an intense rivalry is, and I have experienced the Texas rivalries as well. There is no comparison to AU-UAT in either Texas rivalry, but Perrilloux sums it up pretty well. A Texas Ex (we don't call them alums) is always ready to tell you that OU Sux. Aggie is more like a fiesty sibling. There is a constant flow of people attending both ATM and UT, unlike the far more rare AU-UAT grad, UAT law school aside. My wife attended both, and our daughter goes to ATM. I honestly think the ATM undergrad experience is better all around. UT is the better grad school. Academically, there is far more collaboration between the schools, all the way to the BOT level, in stark contrast to AU-UAT, where the latter has literally made serious attempts to shut down AU in the past.

I will note that the more hardcore Ags take the rivalry harder than Texas Ex's do. All that tsip, tu stuff.
