No, the disconnect is when the multitude of t.u. shitposters and alters bash those who are currently serving, then double down by claiming that their chancellor "did far more in his military career than any Aggy ever", accusing A&M students during World War 2 of being DRAFT DODGERS, and attempting to diminish the military history of the school.

A clear example was the dickholster texashorn claiming that by the very act of my posting on this site, I'm "wasting bandwidth that could be used by a Soldier to Skype home" and should be ashamed of myself.

A&M is not a military academy. As many of the commandants have tried to make the A&M Corps more and more similar to West Point, it isn't and we don't want it that way.

Son, people who own the dubious distinction of trailing Alabama in their series 36-2-1 should perhaps not being calling attention to lopsided records. Though you can hang your hat on trailing the Vols by a mere 54 games in that rivalry.

There is ugly and then there is hideous.

lestertheghost isn't a Kentucky fan. He/she/it is a t-sip acting like an LSU fan masquerading as a Kentucky fan.

Ah, this is one of those "The Crying Game" sort of things isn't it?

Oman, I think everyone by now knows that it really is about how much you hate A&M. Honestly, no fricks are given. However, forgive us for calling you out on your failed arguments, logic, and talking points. You were refuted yesterday and will be again in the future when your bias is the basis for your drivel.

You're such a precious, self-righteous little tyke, but those are the kind of folks who bump pointless threads, so...

I made two points on this thread -- one that A&M fits right in with the SEC unlike just about every other school in Texas (which no one really took issue with) and the idea that Strong is in a better position than Sumlin. One of the posters seemed to think that the mere fact of going to a bowl game (and losing) made A&M the clear favorite of the two. When I posited that if you are going to use such flimsy evidence, may as well use the most recent win streak (of which only Texas has one).

Other than you and some other ag "refuting that", I still haven't heard anyone who isn't an Aggie say they'd rather be in Sumlin's position instead of Strong's -- or, if you want to mince words, whether a Texas fan or an Aggie fan sees more upside right now.

He's in a better position because he has two back to back seasons in the worst major conference in the country and he's in no danger of losing his job.

Sumlin has the talent to win the SEC West.

Strong won 5 games last year and will be in the exact same position this year. The dude blows arse

Would be awesome if you could list at least, oh, 25% of that multitude so Balinese can call them human garbage.

Well, I still have to count you as an Aggie fan even though you got your undergrad at U of H.

But the SMU fan agrees with me.

Ive owned many t-shirts for Stanford and Texas, and a couple from Michigan State and UTSA.

When I was little, I had a sweatshirt with old Sarge walking towards you on the front and Old Sarge walking away from you on the back.

Haven't ever had any reason to actually spend my own money on an A&M t-shirt, though.

So I take it you didn't go to U of H? I thought on another thread you said you did. My mistake.

Well, I certainly don't have the patience to double check those Lobotomy, and it surprises me that even those few all made the statement about McRaven.

But don't let all that hate eat you up.

Do you even have a degree from anywhere? Or are you just a t-shirt that becomes a die hard of whatever school is the flavor of the month?

And your insistence that a non-A&M fan give you affirmation is cute, but more of you failed logic. Do you only accept affirmation of someone of your liking? Way to move the goal posts.

Don't you find in odd that there are no Charlie Strong disciples rushing over here to proclaim him the new orange Jesus? And anyone with a brain can see that your proclamation that us losing a bowl game, and tu beating a quarterbackless Baylor as an indication of program separation is desperate and a real stretch. So much so that folks are trying to tell you, "Well, bless your heart."

But hey, don't worry about buying that A&M shirt. We are all just fine with you not ever owing one, even if we did have enough success for you to jump on our bandwagon.

Just ran back over this thread. I'll delete this if I am wrong, but looks like it was you, Lobotomy, who posted first about the military on the bottom of page 4.

quote:

Shouldn't you be working on your dissertation about how Earl Rudder and Bernard Shriever were "draft dodgers" because they were Aggies?

You're outrage losses a little luster when you're the guy who basically pulled that issue in to the discussion.

[Another ag drops the term "military" on page 3.]

You clearly haven't been paying attention to that poster's "articles" portraying A&M in the late-30s/early-40s as a haven for draft dodgers over the last couple of weeks.

This is truly one of the great low pleasures of this site.

As far as I can see, you Ags are the only folks that seem to think it is some kind of slight to accuse someone of not having a degree from the school they are fans of.

It's as if you guys are too retarded to realize that it's a compliment. (In fairness, it's just you and texag7 and Old Sarge who do this, and you guys all seem to have one too many chromosomes.)

But thanks. It's going to be a time of excitement when someone on this board actually accuses an Aggie fan of not having an Aggie degree.

As if that is some kind of insult.
