Fairly certain that says your starting SS will be back "later" in the year. So I'll put him in the pile of "not fricking useful anytime soon".

Our secondary is predicated on a good pass rush. We held out some players from our defense and only blitzed once in the whole game. Yes we admittedly should have put more pressure on them with just 4 rushing, but they had a veteran Oline. That combined with some injuries in the secondary and no DB coach kinda ended up a perfect storm. Most of their offense came in the passing game, we held up fine against the run. OU's oline is not very good, and we will be back to full(er)strength. We'll get better back there, as much as you don't want to pretend like that's possible.

Do you base all of your evaluations on one bad game? Mizzou got shut out by Georgia, I guess that means Mizzou sucks regardless of how well they played the rest of the season, amirite?
Mizzou lost to Indiana, INDIANA, a team that got beaten by Bowling Green. I guess that means, by the transitive property, Bowling Green > Indiana > Mizzou, amirite?
Georgia lost to SC, guess that means Georgia sucks, regardless of how badly they beat Mizzou, amirite?
