Tennessee's defense was much improved, they said.

Thank you for starting the 19th thread on this subject. No doubt it will be a haven for intelligent debate and football discussion.

Other threads seem to just talk about how many yards were given up.

This thread highlights how many big plays were given up.

The big plays were worrisome, however we were missing our starting safety who is now back so hopefully that reduces the big pass plays. Hopefully the coaching staff makes adjustments and our Dline can get a good pass rush against OU's line. I'll wait till the OU game to make final judgements.

A learning moment for sure for our young CBs.

Getting Martin, Kelly and now McNeil back will certainly help going forward though.

Lets see how we do Saturday before we panic.

(Also BG's QB is 10x better than UGA's, UFs, Missouri's and SC's so I'm not all that worried LOL!)

Fair.

I think I'm the only one who thinks UT can win that game. It will be interesting to see how they perform regardless.

Gee...learning moment? Wait til you play us in a few weeks and Grier will take those CBs and really give them a life lesson.

Didnt know the BG qb was that good 10X better? Ok...then your secondary is 50X worse that New Mexico States?

Listen to your fearless leader who proclaimed just a few weeks ago: "we are no where close to where we need to be" If I were a hillbillie Id be asking the obvious question "where in the frick are we" ?????????? After 557 yds of offense given up...I think I know where you guys are now........lost in space

You do know Grier was a high school player of the year, and has only played one game, in which he was basically perfect.

So let's hold off and let him play. He does have two really good coaches in terms of QB development, and he did nothing on the field to disprove his very high ranking out of high school. Harris also beat you last year after coming in...just tossing that out.

I'd actually say we are doing fine. The rest of our position groups showed improvement since last year, especially the O-Line. We had a bunch of DBs out, our DB coach was suspended for the game, and BG has a very good QB, even though you pretend like they don't. We will get better back there.

Tennessee is going to be solid, but the defense is looking to be a serious chink in the armor.

What do UT fans think of Jancek and Martinez?

For every shitty thread a UT poster started over the off season, bowling green gained a yard on them.
