Ugh, this place is like walking into a room full of kindergarteners who have spent the last hour eating fruit roll-ups and watching cartoons.

Hell yes, a fat coach.
But seriously, I think the tub o lard will do alright. Not a bad hire at all.

It's like they don't even try. If I wanted to see a bunch of nonsensical yelling and flinging of shite I'd go to a zoo.

Most on Volquest don't like the hire and most on 247 love it. I'm probably some where in the middle.
200-106 .654% is good to above average
Back to back 27+ win seasons is solid.
Conference Champions last season, solid.
An all JUCO supporting cast isn't.
NCAA infractions out the arse definitely isn't.
He did just beat Mizz in the NIT though
Anyone know what type of system he runs?

They run, don't think USM pressed full court much. relied on the 3 a a lot.

Is he the Morehead coach that wore the clown suits or was that their women's coach?
Posted on 4/21/14 at 10:52 pm to Bryant91092
lmao you guys run Cuonzo out of town for this?
Posted on 4/21/14 at 10:54 pm to TRUERockyTop
On Defense: Physical, aggressive defenses - lots of presses. Offense I'm not sure what he runs but it's supposed to be faster paced.

Clown shoes.
It helps him keep balance due to his huge belly.

His pace of play is encouraging with how our roster sets up. With Stokes and Maymon leaving and CCMs system so dependent on production from his bigs, next year would have been a nightmare.
Curious if the offense is run and gun or more set plays with more rotation and ball screens.
Glad to hear he presses and traps.

I've heard he uses a lot of screens. Also likes to shoot the 3.

He uses a classic mid-major system, live and die by the 3.
