Tennessee needs to get rid of his arse. This might be the year. They can do so much better.

I don't think that means much to Jim Haslam. At all.

Yeah they should do it right now a month away from the season. Lane kiffin probably would try to get that job

Tennessee is a nice spot. He's wasting talent. He's running out of excuses.

Interesting take from a team who fired their all time winning coach for a defensive line coach

I wanted Les fired. It was time for him to go. Alleva fricked that up. Time to ride with Coach o. Not my choice for sure but his arse needs to be on a short leash, 3 years. I'll give this guy time to work but losing to Florida last year in that situation was unacceptable.

Looks like everyone has accepted it just fine. Losing to UF was supposed the guarantee that O wouldn't get the job.

Dreaded buy-out combined with top money and power donor not caring about a winning program isn't a good combo.

I'm down for turning this into a Gruden to VOLS thread

"Jon Gruden" and "Volunteer" have the same number of letters and syllables.

The same Gruden that said he would never coach in college?

Yeah, maybe they can hire their defensive line coach? Well, as long as he doesn't have a winning record as a head coach anywhere that is...

The same Gruden who hasn't coached in college since 1991?

Yes. That's just fake news, TT9. Gruden is from the King Johnny coaching tree and is a VFL. He met his wife at Tennessee and his son goes to UT iirc.
He owns land in East Tennessee, you know.

UT has a rich football history but honestly its sort of an anamoly. Their location alone shouldve been a huge hurdle, not much talent comes out of that state. The team colors suck ballz. They are doomed for eternity now. The Fulmer curse

You have no cred at all in anything you say when it comes to sec football. It's like you just started paying attention, but act like you know it all by making pointless comments.
If you did know anything you would now that UT is pretty much the SECs national brand due to it's need to recruit nationally. Low in-state talent has been known for decades. Why UT always had at least one top 5 ooc opponent each year before it was the cool thing to do.
