I'd imagine most schools have similar "arrangements." You can guarantee head coaches at major programs are notified ASAP when someone gets arrested. I honestly don't find this to be that big a deal or shocking in the least.

No man, Coach Jones is clearly risking his multi-million dollar job to cover up the crimes of players that have already played their last game for UT.

It's also weird how those players never played a down at UT again and were suspended immediately. And now they're awaiting trial for rape. I'm trying to figure out what justice these alleged victims aren't receiving? Yeah if true, what those players did is detestable, but it's not like they aren't being appropriately dealt with.

I mean Jones suspended the best player on defense before a home game against Mizzou that they needed to win to try and get bowl eligible. This cost AJ Johnson millions.

I never said he was a good person, just a better coach than Les Miles. And I would take him over Les. Les is best years are long gone. And I stand by the statement that Butch Jones is a better coach, but this stinks. Come on dude. Butch was trying to figure this thing out and he lied by omission by never mentioning this. None of that means Les Miles is a better coach, a better person, but not a better coach.
