Faulk got hurt practicing for the second game and he didn't play the rest of the season. Lonergan is done, but Porter played a few games when Lonergan's back wouldn't let him go. I think 3/5 is probably more accurate.

Your recruiting is just fine, but 10 true Freshmen can't replace 10 very capable Juniors.

I agree with this. LSU will probably be fine in the front line. Lots of guys with playing time can take on increased rolls, but just about the entire 2 deep will be guys that have never seen the field before. I don't think there will be a backup with any amount of real playing time on the defensive roster other than OLB and S.

To me, that's a bit concerning.

Meh, our LBs are experienced and at least 5 deep and our CB's are very experienced. People forget Tahj Jones won the starting job last year before being ruled ineligible. Kwon and Debo will turn heads and we have the veteran Barrow in the middle.

Loston is back and his backups and the FS position are talented as hell. Martin and Thompson will be gamers.

Our DLine is the most scary part, but you can plug freshman into that role (sick DL class coming in) and the starters coming back have tons of experience.

what was your starting oline this year? i did not follow you roster injuries. i could have sworn that both faulk and longergan were starters.

its 4 guys with starting experience.

Alexander
Turner
WIlliford
Collins

the last 3 have only played guard at LSU, so we'll see what they do with them, though La'el Collins was the #1 OT in his class.

How many more running backs do we need to replace Ware and Ford? How many more punters do we need to replace Wing? You are such an ignorant troll

I honestly expected Logan, Minter, and Simon back. But they changed the rookie pay scale, and gave added incentive to leave school early.

This is the new normal. LSU just had loads of talent in the JR class this year. However, they seemed more focused on the NFL than on winning games this year.

Next year, our replacements will be hungry to make names for themselves. I'm actually quite excited to watch Rasco and Hunter on the line, for instance.

So my question for the SECr is this: How long is gonna take til you change your mind? Will you change your mind after we crush TCU to open the year? Or will you change it after we beat Georgia at home? Or perhaps you will change it after we exact revenge on Florida?

But really, your answer is not important. I hope your team and coach overlooks us, too.

The only wishful thinking going on is from you LSU fans. We should just give yall the rings already, your best players were really the backups

Is anyone claiming we will be undefeated and win the MNC?

I haven't seen that.

We will be every it as good as A&M though and that game is in BR. You can bet your arse that much.

Faulk was injured all this year. Dworaczyk started at LT. We lose him, too.

We return 3/5 on the line. The new center backed up three positions this year. The LT spot will be manned either by a JC transfer or one of two freshmen.

Aggy doesn't know anything about who is left on the roster. If four guys get hurt, I guess Miles will panic.

Is Eugene a S or a CB right now?

I know he was mostly the Dime and for all intents and purposes was playing the TM7 freshman roll of blitzing DB, but I don't know that he showed enough in coverage this season that he can really slide into the Nickel.

The Jalens will be fine, but I'm mildly concerned with who takes on the Nickel and Dime spots.

Im looking forward to Martin starting at S, he's going to be great, and his limited snaps it seems like he can cover. LSU really missed Brandon Taylors ability to actually cover people man to man. That made it much easier on Chavis IMO.

These Aggie fricks are getting unbearable. 10-2 for LSU is a disappointment. For A&M its a historical season of accomplishments
