While LSU has played in as many "Big Games" since 2000 as any program, your winning percentage is not too great.
LSU is 14-12 in "Big Games" since 2000... which isn't bad. But obviously Bama's 19-7 record tops LSU by quite a bit. Of course I can't say much, Georgia's 4-7 record is once again depressing.

this is great.
hats off to bama then and now.
and, college football is better when USC is playing well. We need either Nebraska or Colorado to kick it up a notch too. yeah, I guess you can throw in Penn State and ND in that number. Big Blue is already a contender again. The clashes of Urban Meyer v/s Harbaugh are going to be epic. Big 10 football has a heartbeat again...

Auburn with a 71% winning percentage in big games surprised me... though when you think about it, it shouldn't be all that surprising. When Auburn is good, they usually rise to the task and perform well in big games. Their issue is they can't maintain consistency. One year they go undefeated... the next they are fighting to make a bowl game: That's the story of Auburn football.
That number surprises me too. As a fan it is even more frustrating than it reads.
That % for UGA is what cost Richt his job. As stupid as it seems from the outside, I get the issue. I hated Tubby for the same reason.

This was really really a great stat. Thanks for doing the research! It is crazy to see the history of all these teams and to know which ones are still doing it.
Crazy to think that over half of our "big games" have occurred in the last 16 of the 66 years listed. The golden age of LSU football and to think of all our fans complain about on a regular basis. Great time to be a Tiger fan.

Yet some rantards claim aTm has more history than Arkansas. Arkansas is closer to the big 6 than any other program in the SEC and it's not close
Not sure your 9-26-1 record in big games since 1950 is really helping your cause.
Arkansas and Texas A&M have resumes that are actually pretty equal. Sure, Arkansas has played in 36 "Top 10 matchups" since 1950 to Texas A&M's 15.... but if you expand it to cover "Top 25 matchups", Arkansas has played in just 84 compared to Texas A&M playing in 94.
In "Top 25 Matchups", Texas A&M's winning percentage is 39.9% while Arkansas' is 39.3%. Almost identical!
There are a number of different things to look at, and I imagine Arkansas looks better in some categories, while the Aggies look better in others. While Arkansas got robbed in 1964, the fact remains they don't have a legit national title. A&M at least one an AP Title back in the 1930s.

If I recall correctly, Alabama is 7-3 all time in 1 v 2 match-ups. A 70% winning percentage in the biggest of big games is a huge part of Alabama's legacy, especially recently. Flip that percentage in just those few games and think of how different the story is.
2016 - (2) Alabama v (1) Clemson (W)
2013 - (2) Alabama v (1) ND (W)
2012 - (2) Alabama v (1) LSU (W)
2011 - (2) Alabama v (1) LSU (L)
2010 - (1) Alabama v (2) Texas (W)
2009 - (2) Alabama v (1) Florida (W)
2008 - (1) Alabama v (2) Florida (L)
1993 - (2) Alabama v (1) Miami (W)
1979 - (2) Alabama v (1) Penn St (W)
1972 - (2) Alabama v (1) Nebraska (L)
Also telling how much more often we get 1 v 2 match-ups with the BCS/Playoff than we use to.

Arkansas' 1964 title is consensus. Helms and FWAA is as legit as polls come.

It was on topic. It is surprising that 2 of the supposed 6 best SEC teams have such poor winning percentages against good teams.
What are you? Stupid?

No, it wasn't.
The big 6 was not mentioned anywhere in the OP. Stay on topic or start your own thread.

If Arkansas' 1964 title claim isn't legit then you need to stop claiming 1942 for Georgia.

It was about UTk and UGA's winning percentage against top ranked teams when they are also ranked though.
It was rather shocking they are that bad in those games and are 2 of the best 6 teams in the SEC. I know I exposed you for the troll/flamed that you really are in my A&M thread and you have every right to feel rustled but please don't stalk me sir.
And stop derailing yet another thread.

Why mention the "big 6" then? It has nothing to do with the OP.
Just stay on topic, or STFU and start your own thread.

I'm going to show your quotes every time you go off topic to troll someone in a thread.
If you don't like the stupid shite you post being thrown back in your face, don't hit submit.
