No, we aren't. What in the hell are you talking about?

I'm amazed at how many people there are on this site who think just saying something will magically make it come true.

Why not this:

"JM is an excellent player and, by all accounts, a good dude. It sure will be fun watching him play over the next 3 seasons and it should bring excitement to the games. I'll cheer like hell for my team to bet TAMU...but, Manziel is a great addition"

It really isn't hard to do.

I work and live among you so yes I know your reputation pretty well. Look, my whole point is you guys won a big game congrats enjoy it but this happens every year to some team in the SEC and then they fade away for a while.

looks like it may be LSU's turn to fade away for a while.

I love the moving target from the rant.

-A&M is a welcome addition but won't compete in the SEC
-Well, Florida isn't that good and the Aggies still lost.
-LSU will injure Manziel
-Miss State will Grind, Manziel will get hurt
-Bama is going to literally kill Manziel
-They can't sustain this kind of season

I am OK w/ a wait and see attitude if you want but you guys keep opening yourselfs up to having your football intelligence put in serious doubt.

The time is now to just shut up. It's really the option that will work for some of you.

Your intelligence about the SEC seems to be what is in question. Ya'll obviously think your team is legit and the rest of the conference who has seen how the SEC works over the past 50 years knows better than to anoint next years champion based off 1 upset victory.

No one "obviously" thinks anything of the sort.

(and it's "y'all," not "ya'll")

On behalf of the many Texas Aggies whom you employ, allow me to thank you for supporting their families. But don't make false assumptions. We're not the arrogant-for-naught fan base you seem to have us pegged as.

Look, A&M wasn't supposed to be able to compete this year because of depth problems, especially on defense. Next year, the defensive depth will be better though we lose some front-line talent, and that isn't a given quite yet.

The WR talent (* wise) will be much better, though young, the RB talent will be even better (B Williams is sitting out due to transfer), and the OL will be just fine. Part of the reason that younger Matthews isn't redshirting is to have experience before he takes over next year.

And JFF will have a year in the system - I agree his numbers will decrease but it will be for the sake of a better team. If you take a look at the young talent on offense, it is inevitable.

And we have Sumlin... maybe not MNC, but we will be solid to great for quite a while. Funny enough, we'd have even better recruiting this year if we hadn't filled up early. 2014 is going to be a REALLY good recruiting year.

Upset victory on a team still licking wounds from hard fought victory over LSU. No excuses, Bama beat us fair and square, but the physical and emotional exhaustion at the end of the game carried over - pretty evident.

I was really hoping for a Bama victory because I live in Houston, amongst you people and I know how you act after a loss - the excuses and rationalization are on par with the Updykes. I knew the arrogance would be unbearable if y'all won, thanks for proving me right.

You honestly think we are predicting a title next year?

You really think the league is just going to figure the offense out? There are only two teams in the west w/ the personel to even have a shot at such a claim.

You act like there is only one way to do this even in the face of the fact that freshman QB as well as a brand new coach are doing it right now. Plus this style has won 3 of the SEC's 6 straight national titles.

You sir are the one who doesn't look like they know the SEC.

Defense has won every single one of those national titles and don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

I assume by your post you think A&M plays poor defense? We have held every single SEC team well below their scoring average this year.

How about that? You're an idiot at arguing things.
