1. I think this will happen
2. we'll see. maybe 1 or 2. Would be pretty epic on here if that happens though.

That said, A&M's schedule next year is so favorable, how will there not be talk about winning it all esp if Joeckel and Mathews return?

I wouldn't bet on it. That place has a cult feeling that doesn't really welcome outsiders. It'll be tough to get a lot of elite players to drink the kool-aide when they see how little diversity there is on that campus.

This is great. So it has gone from...

1) TAMU fans are going to be screwed when JFF gets injured playing like he's playing.

2) JFF will not survive the LSU game if he plays like that.

3) Bama going in dry JFF is going to be broken.

4) Wait until next year! JFF is done, injured...

Let me go ahead and write the rest of this...

Fast forward to end of 2013 football season...

5) TAMU how will it feel when JFF breaks down his junior year because of all the hits he has taken his first 2 seasons?!

Fast forward end of 2014...

6) JFF is barely able to walk after his first 3 years. No way he survives his senior season. His body has taken too much the past 3 years.

Put together a few solid years of recruits and prove me wrong. Elite players don't want to go to College Station IMO.

That line of thinking by Mack Brown is part of why JFF is in CS in the first place

first, simply look at Manziel's record while in high school.

people in Kerrville, TX are not surprised he is doing the same thing at the college level, even in the SEC.

johnny football will only get better each year.

the college coaches who passed on Manziel remind me of the music promoter who passed on the Beatles.

Our average recruiting ranking since 2002 is 16th and we were a top-5 recruiting power from the mid-80s to late-90s.

Players want to go play for winners, that's all that matters in the end. Unless it's Ole Miss, because they don't like the blacks.

"IMO," being the most salient point of that post.
Kids love going to CS. Just like they love BR. And Starkville. And Athens. And Lubbock (I know. Head-scratcher). And Norman. And Tuscaloosa....

We'll be ok.

You seem like you know A&M pretty well.

I work and live among you so yes I know your reputation pretty well. Look, my whole point is you guys won a big game congrats enjoy it but this happens every year to some team in the SEC and then they fade away for a while.

A&M used to curbstomp LSU every year back in the 90's.

There is no reason they can't start that scenario again.

Your boss is an Ag therefore players don't want to go to A&M. Got it.

Prepare to relive your team's 90s success. That stale offense is going to get even worse once even more elite talent realizes that they'll be able to cross the 50 yard line in A&M's system.

We were also losing to the likes of Kentucky and Vandy too, so don't get too excited. Our program was in shambles at this time.

I'm sure this has more to do with him being on the football team more than anything else. He would be a status frick for the ladies whether he is good or not and that's about it.
