Yea, it'll suck to not have any alcohol in the locker room. How will they treat open wounds?

The irony is that Ed Orgeron was passed on because he wasn't "polished" enough to handled the West coast boosters.

I wonder if he joked about Manziel's substance abuse problems?

Again, Kenny Hill was the one who was passed out in a flower bed, not Manziel.

No clue.
But Manziel was an underaged college student.
And Sarkisian is an adult, and then some.
So my guess would be, no.

C'Mon now Tbird.

quote:

When Manziel was at Texas A&M, his parents went back to the car well again, buying him a shiny, red Camaro if he promised to be a model citizen, according to the New York Times article.

"We have to keep him focused; Johnny needs incentives," Michelle Manziel said. Paul added, "Johnny needs structure all the time, because down time for Johnny is the worst time."

But Manziel had another brush with the law when he was arrested at Texas A&M in the summer of 2012 for a bar fight during which he came to the defense of a friend. Manziel, who was too intoxicated to answer questions according to the police report, spent the night in jail and ultimately pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor. He was also ordered by first-year Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin to undergo random drug testing and drug and alcohol counseling.

We all know that it is impossible for a football staff to control what their players do off the field yet they have to sent the example & create an environment where irresponsible behavior is frowned upon. They can also create an environment that only adds the fuel that flames negative behavior.

quote:

"The way we talked about him in meetings, the kid never put in the time he needed to -- studying film, organizing workouts, 7-on-7 workouts -- he didn't do it," said one NFC scout with a Southeastern Conference focus. "His thing would be he's going to show up on Saturdays, 'I'm a gamer.' He'd show up for practices and games but that's about it. Johnny thought he was an NFL superstar before he came [into the league]."

I'm not trying to get in a trolling or pissing here. I deal in reality & the reality is Sumlin needs to worry about his program first & foremost. Stop taking shots at other programs & deal with his own. I'm just being honest here.
