Agree given the circumstances.

Also, Freeze's family is in north Mississippi. If you're going to use what's in the OP as a reason for why Mullen isn't leaving Starkville, you have to use Freeze's family ties to north Mississippi/Oxford as a reason he isn't leaving Ole Miss.

Where is anyone talking about Freeze leaving?

It's a new day in college football. State will pony up plenty of money to keep Mullen in a place that isn't a pressure cooker like UF. I don't see why he'd move to UF or Michigan unless they are going to pay him significantly more. I mean would yout pay Nick Saban money for Dan Mullen?

#1. Will match OM's total weeks at #1 in the history of the AP before we head to Tuscaloosa. $100 mil invested in football. Packed out stadium. Record donations. Overall revenue that's tripled. University that's becoming it's own monster monetarily. I'd say it's a damn good ROI.

So, where are you keeping all the crystal? What's that? You don't have any?

I'm not sure why he's being mentioned for the UF job.

Foley won't touch anyone associated with Urbs.

Name the last successful coach State had that didn't leave outside of being fired/forced to resign

I just did.

Everyone is fired/forced to resign if they stay somewhere long enough. Ask Bowden, Bobby, Paterno, Joe, and probably soon to be Beamer, Frank about it.

Sherrill had opportunities to leave. Mullen has had opportunities to go. It becomes a constant OM spin cycle when they choose to stay...

Same amount Ole Miss has. Same amount Will Muschamp has. Here I was thinking ROI literally meant return on investment -- which I laid out for you. Didn't realize you were breaking it down to mean "titles only", which doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

Sherrill? He won 9 games his last 3 years and got his shite kicked in the last two against Eli. He was forced to resign or he was going to be fired.

Interesting because when the Penn State and Miami jobs opened up he wasn't interviewed for Penn State and they didn't offer him the Miami job. What job offers has he had?

The other website you frequent.

"Foley is interested in an up and coming SEC West coach and it ain't Malzahn or Mullen"

This isn't about Ole Miss or Muschamp.

You were bragging about paying more for Mullen than UF did for Urbs.

You've got nothing outside of a yet to be finished season to truly show for it. Don't give me fundraising numbers etc... Trophies are what coaches are hired to win.

I hear the Aggies just got approved for a Capital 1 Venture card with a $5,000 limit. They've hit it big.

You think END OF CAREER is the only chance someone has to leave? When they are about to be fired? Sherrill coached at MSU for 13 years. In year 10, he was coming off a 4 year run of being the best team in the SECWest, owning Florida, etc. OM fans made sure his name was attached to every job in 2000, just like they've done with Mullen after every time he beats them.

Do you know how the process works at all?

It wouldn't surprise me if he had no interest in Miami. Penn State though? You know he wanted that job and probably would have taken it if offered.

The trustee said UM inquired about Stanford’s Jim Harbaugh, who wasn’t interested, and said Jon Gruden never seemed serious about taking the job. Chris Peterson gave UM no indication he wanted to leave Boise State. UM thought Nebraska’s Bo Pelini had some interest, but he changed his mind. And UM was turned off by Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen’s big ego, with one trustee saying he acts like he invented the game.

I hope both UM and MSU keep their coaches. I think they are building something strong at their respective schools. Strong competition breeds great games. It's win/win.
I hope both those schools continue to build their programs.

For context to the idiots pretending UF was going to triple what MSU can and would pay him.

So how long before you run Freeze out of town for not winning one? Or do you allege that he's proven something Mullen hasn't?(In spite of being paid just as much if not more currently and also in line for a raise)...

He may not leave, but he will LEVERAGE this season for one HUGE pay RAISE.

It is likely that Mullen's agent will offer deals before season is over.
