Country wood was okay. There were some really nice areas near Sanga off of Walnut Grove, when it was still county, kind of like how the Collierville Reserve is now.
Congrats on house hunting.

Isn't there like an Old Town part of it too? I remember going to a Christmas party somewhere around there when I was really young. There was a red Ferrari parked I their garage.

That area has Riverwood Farms, which has some nice homes for Cordova, but even those home values have taken a big hit. And there are also some little cookie cutter neighborhoods around that area that are not helping matters.
Like I said, all of Cordova is turning into a Hickory Hill.

I don't get what's so bad about Cordova but I only go to like one neighborhood over there and it's pretty nice if not a little bland.

Yes, we have someone in here saying it's a nice area.

It is...if you're the kind of person who suddenly remembers his anniversary and thinks "I wonder if it's too late to get a table at Applebees."

Da frick is going on in here?
I go take one fricking exam and now we're arguing about Memphis property taxes and if Cordova is safe for white folk?

Don't let these posers fool you. There are plenty of nice areas in Cordova. they're just looking to talk shite on the Internet
ETA: didn't realize the rant was full of high net worth individuals who frown upon Memphis Suburbian areas.
