But 7-6 seasons are worth being excited about for them. Nothing really to see there....

Tennessee fans should be more careful, spurrier has beaten them while he's been at South Carolina with much worse teams than he will have this year.

Don't be mad at other programs because yours is historically an outhouse

Lost in all the hoopla of "Tennessee winning four of their last five" is the fact that, during their five game stretch, Tennessee did not beat a team with more than seven wins. It's not like the VOLS whipped up on competent opponents or anything. Hell, Kentucky and Vandy were two of those four wins. Quit beating your chest over it.
Just let the record reflect this fact, please.

Petrino beat Spurrier's arse twice.
Spurrier beat John L. Smith and then Bielema in his first year.
Congrats? Where should I mail your shirt?

Bold words from a coach whose team will be fighting for 12th or 13th in the league.

Ah yes, we whipped you... when your team was in utter free fall. Please pay no attention to the times your team slapped us around like a hooker caught hiding money from her pimp. That, more then anything, is how you can tell USCjr is a team on the decline.
UT and Arkansas are excited about this season because both fan bases want to see if their teams are ready to take a step forward. Sure, the schedules are pretty rough and there will be setbacks but both programs are eager to get to work.
With USCjr the feeling you get is more like when a beloved dog begins to slow down as age catches up with them. There isn't excitement and hope for the next season, there is bitterness that other teams have hope. You have a great coach who has settled into semi-retirement and the Cocks have settled firmly into "we used to not suck" mode.
Christ people. I know the Aggies molesting you to start off the season using only one play over and over again was horrible to watch but it was just one game. By now I'm sure you've learned to defend the bubble screen and this season may be brighter.
Either get excited about the Gamecocks turning things around this year or get out of the way of the rest of us who are excited.

I think you may be responding to the wrong person. I hate you wasted all that typing, but I haven't really said anything about Arkansas ITT, especially not enough to warrant your little rant there.

To be fair, y'all didn't have much luck against A&M either.

True. We ran out of gas in that game and it showed. Ah well, a few stupid mistakes cost us the chance to close the door on them. That is hopefully something we cut down on this season.

I re-watched most of the games from last year recently. Our defense really looked lost at the first of the season. Even Texas Tech dropped 28 on us early in the season. By the end of the season our LBs and DBs were trusting their instincts more.

Spurrier's three crutches (Lattimore, Clowney, & Shaw) are all gone, and they haven't been replaced. South Carolina could possibly win as few as four games with their schedule next year, wouldn't suprise me if Georgia was one of them as usual.
Tennessee will finish 7-5.

Spurrier just seems to be Georgia's kryptonite.

The HBC is 17-8 against the Bulldogs as a player and coach.
