The OBC "crossed the line" when he went to his superior & asked him to go to Morris' superiors & have him fired. That is nothing bout 1st Amendment rights. That is all bout using one's power & leverage to intimidate to the extent he wants a reporter/columnist fired. Which most definitely will act as a warning shot across the bow of any/all future reporters/columnists. And then to say if this does not happen: "I'll take my ball & retire to the beach". Such a mature act for one who has ridiculed & mocked many many individuals & teams over the yrs. He was funny as hell 10 yrs ago. Now his act is just coming across as pathetic.

Actually, this would be an interesting case for a really sharp attorney. One could argue that The University of South Carolina is an extension of the government by receiving so much of its operating budget from government funding. If you can successfully make that connection, then Spurrier attempting to have a reporter fired could be linked to the first amendment protecting a free press.

Not a clearcut violation by any means, but could be an interesting case.

Piss him off and see what happens, if UF hadn't pissed him of when they fired Zook he would be in his 21st year at UF and our record against UG would be 21 straight wins. Damn, I miss him.

lol

Some comedy.... I say we just drop the subject. What was said was said by both parties. I'm just going to sit back and see what actually happens.
