Bleacher Report.

Agree. The guy just wanted a link on something that is my opinion so I found him one.

How dare anyone think Urban is a better coach than Saban?

Bama fans get rattled over Spurrier's shots at Saban but Saban doesn't really care. Saban is too focused on winning and recruiting to have time for much anything else. Saban is just too damn stubborn about defense and it's cost him two possible national titles the last two years.

Until he makes it more simple, his guys are gonna be out there looking at the sideline, while teams like Auburn and Ohio State are already snapping the ball.

Quick witted is when you say something intelligent on the spot without having to think about it. I don't think that making jabs at any other school or another coach has anything to do with quick wit. You are happy with your coach and I am happy with mine. I had lot rather Coach Saban talk about our team during an interview than make remarks about another school or coach. I can understand when he does it with Clemson, because that is their instate rival, but he has even taken that too far at times. If the interview is national, I don't want my coach to come across as petty and thinking more about that other team than he is our team.

In other words, BORING.

All that being said, it's AMAZING how many Spurrier comments get taken out of context.

Well, when the OP literally twists what was actually said then folks will get up in arms about it.

Meh. He's still one championship up on Meyer. I think it was pretty much a given Saban is the best coach of this generation, but Meyer is one Championship away from tarnishing his legacy. And Meyer JUST turned 50. He's 13 years younger than Saban. It's not unthinkable he could pass Saban. I think Saban realizes that and will give Kiffin more control in order to win one more before he retires. When it's all said and done, Meyer probably wins more than Saban though.

You're trying too hard. A&M won't ever come close to the greatness Bama has experienced.

No. Probably not. As a former student, I'm glad I got a half way decent education however, something I couldn't dream of getting at Alabama, so there is trade off.

But I'm not sure what A&M has to do with my post about Urban Meyer. We could have gotten him instead of Fran. So I guess there is some tie in, but still. I don't see why A&M is relevant to this discussion.

and I still make more money than you.

Alabama is a better program than Ohio State and A&M.
Nick Saban is a better coach than Urban Meyer.

I'm honestly proud of him if he makes more money than me. I know plenty of people my age that do, but none I would consider Larry's level of intelligence. He'd definitely be an outlier, and that's nothing to shite on.
