Yeah, and some people here might actually remember it.

Yeah because 2001 and 2003 were so long ago

I'm guessing you didn't start pulling for Alabama until 2008 though.

Meh. Unless Bo acquires a new brain and arm he won't be making the throws Trickett made. And we did whatever we wanted offensively.

Outside of turnovers (which matter, obviously, but they were all fumbles in our own territory), we physically dominated Florida as much or more as any SEC game against a decent team that I've seen in the last 3-4 years. And we've laid some arse kickings over those years.

Gonna be an interesting game. Lots of fun matchups.

Baylor -13 @Texas

Texas is bad, not Kansas bad, but bad.

This is a reasonable post. Someone who understands that Alabama can be beat. Not someone just laughing it off saying "LOLOLOL REBS HAVE NO CHANCE CUZ WE'RE BAMA!!"

Alabama won that 2009 game when they were 3.5 pt favorites by 19.

Guess the algorithm guys had a bad day that day.

Vegas fricked up a lot of our spreads back then.. For some reason their formulas made them reach the conclusion that Jevan Snead was actually serviceable.. He was not.

See, that's what separates Ole Miss fans (aside from winning) as they don't let accomplishments stop them, or lack of. You guys won one good game last year. How can you be considered an elite type program, or even a good program, when you brag about being a 4 or 5 point dog at home...seriously. Spreads mean shite. What were you last year, when they destroyed you? You guys are something else.

Read between the lines. That's pretty much what he said.

I went to the University from 2003-2008.

I will always hold on to my Shula Syndrome.

Ole Miss was only a 14.5 pt dog last year and lost by 25. Guess they used the same formulas for Bo too.

In the heart of the Dubose years, we would have given our left nut for Shula.

After rubbing it in the face of an LSU fan, of course. But the point remains...

While Ole Miss looked like a complete dumpster fire against...Memphis.

I dunno - at the very least DuBose lucked into Shaun and Samuels who coached the 1999 team to the SEC Title.

On the other hand it was "God's plan" for us to lose by 30, win 3 games and go on probation.

As a spoiled Alabama fan

I expect to win by 10+. Yes I'm biased but I think we are too talented and well coached to lose to Ole Miss.

And still won by 3 touchdowns. Just imagine if we hadn't made mistakes, played our most basic offense and the refs hadn't been a shite show.

Well your own fans are stupid because they think they're going to hold us to 10 points and beat us by 14.

Didn't see you complain about that one.

If I was an Ole Miss fan the thing I'd be most nervous with from Memphis was that Bo went back to making wildy stupid throws and looking lost reading the defense. Against Memphis.

Yeah with that "just imagine" we'd have beat Florida 72-0 a week ago.

Keep on "just imagining" though.

You can't blame us for expecting to win by double digits. Under Saban we've typically always rolled through September and October will relative ease.

If you win I'll be here to say congrats but I'd be shocked to see it happen.

I give Dubose credit for one thing, and only one: he stripped the entitlement and lofty expectations right out of our hearts. I now appreciate the wins.

Some of us seemed to have gotten the entitlement back, or may be too young to remember the Dubose era. Not me.
