I predict the line will be at least -7 by gametime.

So every once in a while in Vegas, there is a line that gets 80% of the money on one side. This sure looks like one of those lines. And I swear that in my day, I've seen those obvious picks miss more than not. I don't know how they do it. Bama is going to win by a field goal, and everyone will be shocked, including me.

Ole Miss 4-0 ATS this year.

It's a trap game for gamblers. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

This is similar to the Auburn vs K State game. Everyone saw the line open really low and everyone bet Auburn. Look how that turned out.

I think I am going to start tallying up trap games this week, and see how often they hit.

No such thing. Real bookies want even play. Some small time bet takers may try to win more off a game doing something like that, but nobody big enough to set odds out of Vegas. They want their vig.

There is some concern/rumors about Blake Sims health FWIW. Saban will never admit to it, as he is Fort Knox about injuries. I wonder if that is partly where this line is coming from.

Ole miss is not much better than Florida.
Blake fricking Sims isn't throwing for 400+ against the best pass defense in the conference.
2 picks... Minimum.

This has a lot to do with the low spread.
Bama is, what, 2-2 ATS? so far this year?
I'm not sure how you claim that FAU game. Final was above some lines and below some other lines.

He wasn't even supposed to throw for 200 yards against Florida.

He's just scared

What makes you think he'll need to? Yeldon and Henry are going to run wild.

Except that this is not Auburn.

Hearing that Sims will not suit up.

He had a tough landing on that long scramble against UF. He didn't throw during the media viewing period of practice on Friday. I wonder if Vegas is questioning whether he will be 100% for the OM game. If he isn't 100%, is he going to start or will Coker have his first start on the road against a top ten team?
I could see where the line could be coming from.
