Thanks for the info! Edit: But according to this LINK, the number is actually 26,988.
Despite what some might think, this thread was just about that...info. A lot of us travel, and there's probably some who will be travelling but haven't.
Having info like this to hand gives the travelling fan a sense of how far ahead hotel rooms need to be booked in certain towns.

Oh, okay. That link doesn't include the 4 hotels that are under construction.

Hyatt place
Hilton Inn South is also under construction on Southland Drive.
