He punched a guy. We don't even really know what Speedy did. I'd say cussing at a professor (one of the rumors) is pretty bad.
I've been in bar fights and I've never cussed at a professor. One is exponentially worse than the other. But anyways.

Yea cussing out a professor can most certainly be considered harassment. Sure the legalities of a criminal assault may look worse on a job application. But I have a thin enough brain to realize that lots of college kids get into fights at bars, whereas most college kids don't cuss at their professors.
