14. LSU

I expected us to be in the bottom half of the league, and i understand the reasoning behind putting us last, but i don't think we'll finish there...
Regardless, gonna be a fun year

KenPom should be out in next couple weeks. Here were the reverse engineered preseason rankings as of March. S Carolina lost Dozier, many players transferred out and in etc. since then.

Keep in mind only transfers with a lot of college production and top 30 freshmen are weighted in his preseason rankings.

quote:

This assumes that all players projected to go in the first round (DraftExpress) declare. It also accounts for high profile transfers and top 30 recruits (all he uses). Obviously Porter is going to have most impact, then Sexton, all the way down to Witherspoon.

This is what it spit out. Obviously some recruits haven't decided yet and there are always some surprises with transfers and declarations. Here is what it spit out.

1. Kentucky
2. Florida
3. South Carolina
4. Alabama
5. Arkansas
6. Texas A&M
7. Vanderbilt
8. Tennessee
9. Mississippi
10. Georgia
11. Mississippi State
12. Auburn
13. Missouri
14. LSU

i personally don't see georgia finishing that low.

we have been competitive and in the top half of the sec under fox and i dont really see that changing in a year where we have the best college player in the conference

My guess is these three will finish above Mississippi State ole Miss and Auburn. So I'd swap them
I think Auburn and MSU are definitely being overvalued but there's obvious talent there.

Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina all have pretty high floors considering coaching and program stability, but if people want to predict that Mizzou, Auburn, and MSU will jump above them it's reasonable.

LSU to me is the clear pick for last even if I agree that they probably won't finish last. I just don't know who I'd take them over.

And the difference between 4th and 10th may be a two game difference as a result of unbalanced scheduling anyways so no one should get offended.

State being overvalued at 10? Lol. We'll be one of the most improved teams this year. Us along with Alabama will make the big jumps this year. If we stay healthy we're a borderline tourney team.
