Justin Fuente will most likely be USCe's next coach.

Tubbs as head coach, Nutt as offensive coordinator, Ed O as DC.

I am still shocked that guy actually married King Hog's sidepiece.

I mean, you know EVERYONE talks behind their back. And if they ever have kids the poor kids will get to hear what a ho their mom is.

I don't get what would lead a guy to do that. She wasn't THAT hot.

I presume Spurrier's son, the OC I believe, won't get a call? How popular is he, anyway?

Kingsbury wouldn't leave tech for Scar.. His team at tech is about to turn the corner finally. It is the school he always wanted to be at, and scar has a much tougher schedule on a yearly basis.

Kingsbury

The non-football oriented female attendance at games would soar thru the roof if he ended up at Carolina.

Have you heard Dana Dimel mentioned at all ?

I've heard his name a couple times in recent conversations. KSU's OFFCORD.

I have not heard that name mentioned as of yet. There's a pretty comprehensive thread about the coaching search on the South Carolina board. I'd say top three at this point are Fuente/Herman/Smart. We're willing to go up to 6 mill so money won't be an issue for whoever gets the HC job.

It's going to be Fuente, Herman, or Kirby like CarolinaGirl said. I'm fine with any of these three and I'd even be ok with Chad Morris or Rich Rod too.

We'll pass on taking coach hiring tips from Tennessee fans, thanks.

It's not as though I've liked the hires.

You have a chance to do some damage with an up and comer. That's why I hope you go for another has been.

It's going to see suck seeing South Carolina making another hire better than the ones we've made.

5-6 million will land you just about any coach out there. Just don't make the mistake we made, when your AD says he is about to hire a big coach make sure he's not talking in terms of weight.

I was surprised to hear that we were willing to go that high before incentives. Spurrier really has changed the mindset in Columbia and among Gamecocks everywhere, though. Spurrier preached about gaining more million dollar boosters out of our alum base....well...his wife is about to be a Carolina alum. Practice what you preach, coach.
