I was going to come to Athens (always have a good time), but after our performance last week, I think I'll take my daughter to the zoo

Dawgs hopefully get the win.

But any UGA fan knows this is far from a give me. We win, but it sure as frick won't be by 2+ TD's...expect a close game

Spurrier owns Richt and schooled Pruitt last year.

About 1/4 of the team had the flu the week of the LSU game

That could have been a factor, but I have seen a LOT of instances where players go out with the flu and play the best game of their careers.

Either way, I think we could both argue that their team had the better team.

On the field said SC had the better team, and UGA had the better schedule. That's life. :)

Had SC made it to Atlanta, do you think they would've given Bama a game?

They could still beat us, even if they had gone to OT with JSU the week prior
Auburn played JSU, not South Carolina but

Absolutely. If the team that embarrassed Georgia and Clemson showed up, Bama would have been in trouble.

On the field you lost two games, so I guess you are right. It was decided on the field.

How about the team that got beat by Florida and LSU and barely beat Vanderbilt?

You beat them by 10. That's embarrassed?

What was embarrassing is what Vanderbilt did to you.

Chances of USC upsetting UGA Saturday?

High. Orth might have his career moment this weekend. Georgia should win, but you never who's gonna show up with Richt at the helm. I have Georgia 31-16, making some plays in the fourth quarter to put the game away. But I don't feel good about it.

If you had watched that game you would understand, but I don't blame you for not wanting to see us again that year after we beat the breaks off your sorry team.

Honestly, South Carolina has a huge chance to upset us.

With the only reason being Steve spurrier.

I've seen great Georgia teams lose to him. 07,12.

As long as he is their head coach, they will compete like no tomorrow. His national championship game is seeing if he can drop 100 on Georgia.

It's the main reason why I hate him so much. And will have a huge party the day he announces retirement.

The melts this man has caused me........ can never be forgiven.

Yep. That was Spurrier's best team during his tenure, and several of those guys were on the '10 team that played in the SECCG. Obviously we will never know, but I think USC had just add much chance to beat Alabama as UGA did.

As for this game, I could see UGA venting some frustration, but I could almost just as easily see Carolina find a miracle.

If UGA wins big, I guarantee you this is the end of SOS at USC.

Fluke year. Carolina had four All-Americas.

I don't think SC would've been as successful running the ball but I think Connor Shaw would've been tough for Bama with his legs. Murray was a good runner too but Bobo and Richt coached him out of that.

This is more likely to me than

If UGA wins big

I'd like to be more optimistic about it but SOS gets your boys ready to play for this game. Without fail. This is the game that they always show up for and play up to their potential.
