the defensive line might be the best but the secondary and linebackers are pretty damn meh

I agree about the backers but I think the secondary is solid.

We get to see in 16 days

Give me a minute, I need to figure out how to blame this on the loss of Laquon Treadwell.

Ohio St is much, much better than what they are getting credit for. What they did to Wisconsin is impressive.

No it was on the road.

Right, beating a team whose coach didn't have a gameplan and was thinking about which house to buy in Corvallis is very impressive

Probably. But they are absolutely not ready for the offense they are about to see. I'd rather play them now than in the final game - I think their lack of quality opponents will make them shellshocked in the beginning of this one.

Completely agree with this, but that performance was more of an outlier. Remains to be seen whether the defense has truly improved to the point of performing at that level with regularity. Its certainly possible, LSU's defense was certainly nothing to write home about earlier in the season either.

You'll know that if Auburn stops Wisky in anyway (lol), then OSU is shite.

Cue the - Arky is the greatest 6-6 team in the history of sport

Is it harder to go 6-6 in the SEC west or the Big 10?
I think we all know the answer to that one.

We all remember how stout Notre Dame's defense was in 2012. Never gave up a TD inside the 5 yard line all year long. That didn't even last 1 full qtr. in the BCSNCG. Much to Joey Galloway's chagrin, Ohio St. and Urban Meyer are gonna have a bad night on New Year's Day.

LSUs is the best in the SEC, and no, their defense is not as good as the LSU squad.

Not many good Defenses in the SEC this year. None really played consistent all year.

No. Bama struggled against Arky on the road in terrible weather conditions.

LSUs went from a terrible defense to the best with the subtraction of a single player. It was night and day once Welter got benched.

This game will be good for about a quarter and a half. Then Saban unleashes hell.

LSU had a very good defense, but according to the espn stats, Ole Miss led in scoring, rushing, interceptions, sacks, and defensive efficiency. LSU had fewer passing yards allowed and less total yards. Looks like Ole Miss has the statistical edge.

Both are better than Ohio.
