Yea even the highly rated guys we got in muschamp's tenure just did not pan out for what ever reason(3 or 4 different wr coaches probably had somthing to do with it)

Ahmad fulwood - We were super stoked about landing him dude has done nothing and our early enrollees swain, hammond, massey are already passing him up

Alvin Bailey - for what ever reason he can't get on the field either he's actually done less then fullwood

We had a shite load of scholarships tied up at the wr position when muschamp left and demarcus robinson was the only good one

CJ worton has real potential also

I'll give him lewis and goolsby too but muschamp was an idiot when it came to tight ends he never played undersized pass catching types like Lewis

Instead he played converted defensive ends who could do nothing but block and nobody saw the field unless they weighed 250+ lbs

We all know Tennessee will implode. Georgia doesn't look that strong either.

Florida will improve on offense. Our defense should still be solid. We should at the very least go 1-2 between Tennessee, LSU, and Georgia... but could be 2-1 or even 3-0 if we play our cards right.

We already know McElwain can coach. Kirby Smart we have no idea as far as being a head coach, and Butch is Butch.

So why not Florida?

I guess we will fly under the radar like we did last season and take the east with ease again.

Did you watch Florida to end the year?

Didn't just struggle, but flat out awful. There is your answer.

7-1 during SEC play. Same number of SEC wins as Bret at Arky

Because Tennessee should have won last year (while Grier was still at QB) and is returning everyone. On the other hand, UF lost some of its best players to the draft or to steroid related activities.

In other words, logic.

Because of the annual offseason Tenner hype. UF wins the east.

In fairness, we're Florida, they're Arkansas-- completely different standards-- if Bret goes 7-5 and 8-4 the next two years he get's a raise if Mac does the same he's either fired or on the hot seat entering 2018.

Because I believe your O-line is horrible. Didn't ya'll lead the NCAA in sacks or INTs?

Not trying to flame; but I would guess this and TN's strong showing last year is why.

Yes Mac shite the bed on defensive recruiting imo and I'm suspect about this staff's ability to recruit that side of the ball. What is not lacking is talent on defense. Brantley, CeCe, Kevionnis Davis, Jarrad Davis, Marcus Maye, Quincy Wilson who will be another top pick, Tabor, Taven Bryan, Kylan Johnson, Brian Cox Jr, etc. The lack of DT depth is a bad problem but there's a lot of talent there and on defense. We will beat UT because Dobbs can't pass against good defenses and there ol sucks dick. There defense will be okay but outside of JRM and Barnett I don't see great players, just depth. UF 35-17

UT was lucky to be in that game at all to be honest. We missed more tackles than any other game last year. If you watch the game again you will see that many of the missed tackles were due to bad technique and were missed at or behind the line of scrimmage. In fact, most of UTs big plays had multiple missed tackles at or behind the LOS. If we tackled well, the game wouldn't have even been close. All that and we still won.
