This is actually pretty damn funny.

I didn't read the entire thread, but someone explained why this isn't cheating or against the rules, right?
eta: And LOL at 5 yards over. How wide does OP think the field is??
(there are about 12 yards between the inside ends of the hash marks, for the record).

It was moved over, period, because of where the center lined up. Watch the replay or shut up.

The replay official was garbage, too.
With Tennessee running a HUNH offense, the replay official was waaaay too slow to stop plays for review before they snapped the ball for the next play. It was a horrible day for the refs.

You're right. They snapped the ball before reviewing that fumble in the end zone. Cheaters.

So Tennessee tried to cheat... and still lost?
can't even do that right!
SEC refs are pretty incompetent, the one's we had at Lexington were absolute donkeys.

The ball can be replaced on or between the hash marks after either a penalty or called timeout by the defense.

That's not a rule. Stop trying to fool Vols&Shaft into thinking they didn't cheat (it's easy to fool him).

Google it. It's in the rules. I'm about to board a plane.
I'm trying to figure out how you thought this went. Did you think the line just walked it over 2 yards once spotted, or the center threatened the ref who was spotting the ball and got him to move it against the rules?

I was there and the line shifted after the first kick. The refs just assumed that's where it was before.

I was there too, and watched as the UF time keeper totally fricked us, twice.
TWICE

Just pokin my head in here to see if 5 pages of arguing over who got screwed worse by the refs has resulted in a changed score.
Just want to know cause I will be in a bad mood the rest of the week if we lost.

There was a timeout, so each team went to their sidelines after the first kick. The refs spotted the ball before the teams came back out. So, the lines did not shift and the refs did not assume that's where it was before based on where the lines were.
I'm not saying you are a lying MF'er...but in this case, you appear to be a lying MF'er.

Imagine that - SEC officials blew a call.

Tennessee cheated. Period. But yes, lots of blown calls in the game on both ends.
