I think everyone (including bama fans) knew they fricked this up.

Whatever, I'll take the ugly arse W.

It was weird, and didn't seem to make any sense, but no reasonable hog fan is arguing that was the difference. However, miracles do happen, and the hogs should have gotten the shot.

who cares that arkansas "probably" would not have scored anyway. how can an official get something this fundamentally easy wrong in that situation.

He certainly deserves to be reprimanded.

Everyone in the stadium knew the clock should have stopped except for the refs, insane.

Your head coach didn't seem to know either. You'd think if he thought his team was getting screwed at the end of the game, he would have put up more of a fight. Instead, he just puts his head down and hands on his knees.

I'd be pissed at him too.

I'm sure Arkansas would have driven 50 yards for a FG try with 10 seconds left on the clock.

Who says something crazy wouldn't have happened? Either way, it was a big frick up.

This is not counting the penalty on Skipper or the fact that fat arse Bielema ran out on the field to get a TO on your last TD and didn't get noticed somehow.

The announcers said Penn Wagers was retiring after this season. So you'll be happy to know this.

You didn't see him run out and ask the ref WTF was going on?

I was like 15 rows up right behind the coaching staff during that. He ran like 10 yards onto the field 6 seconds before they snapped they ball and no one looked at him

Agreed...during the game I mentioned to my son that I didn't understand why the clock was running. And while it's unlikely it would've changed the outcome, Arkansas should've had the chance. A lot of unlikely things have happened in the SEC the past couple of years...

Penn has had some of his greatest games of all time when Arkansas is involved. His POTW performance was legendary.

It amazing people still bitch about the refs at all. What do y'all expect when we pay them thousands of dollars a week? We are gonna get the calls every time. It would be so much easier if y'all just came to terms with it.

This was burt trying to call time out because we were in the wrong defense. Result of the refs missing a giant hunk of a man nearly at the hash marks was a Bama TD.

Bert said in a presser he might try a cartwheel next time....I'd like to see that

I'm surprised they admitted that it was called incorrectly. There were about 20 pages in the game thread where Bama fans were educating us on how it was the correct call.

I guess he was satisfied with the answer? I thought everyone but the refs knew what should have happened? Like I said, I would hope my coach would put up a bigger fight.

I know One Bama fan even said it is a smart play if the other team has no timeouts and you had the ball with 10 minutes left. He explained you could keep having false starts and ice the game

How was Bert not penalized for being that far on the field when the play was being run?

Seriously why did he not run down the sideline and get the attention of the ref on the line of scrimmage? That guys job is to watch the line for movement, etc, not for fat men running out on the field 25 yards away.

He said he didn't get an answer and everyone was already running off the field. What else can you do? He chased after the ref and wanted an answer and didn't get it.
